There's a bug in this game where I had 125 coins and click on deal and it said "game over". Took me a while just to get to the 125 coins at 5 betmax cap. Nice try. 1/5
As others stated, the combining is not as intuitive as it needs to be. Additionally, the inventory screen would be infinitely more accessible if I could see all my items on one page. (two rows, hello??) This was still fun though. 3.75/5
This game is quite difficult to win outside of the easiest setting. I could play a number of times to try to hone my skills, but I don't see the re-playability being much worth the time. The only real challenge is to manage against the time.
I played for about 20 minutes and then went to the screen where it shows progress and it said 3% complete. I can do math. I don't know if I'm up for a 10 hour flash game. Either way, seems like it'd be a legit player.
I've gotten one purple item, on level 5. I was disappointed that the game was *beat* at lvl 20, seems a bit quick. Certain weapons are FAR more useful than others (rapid fire, gravity gun, ranged over melee etc.). I'd like to see a better use for weapons than what you have in here and a better level arc. It's a 3/5 right now, could be 5/5 with a few gameplay decision changes.
How is this a 5/5 game? I had to put more thought into Zork in 1981. 32 years later and I get a clickfest with cartoon graphics and a overtone of philosophical grandeur.
