Chibi Grinder. Music and animation are good. Story and hidden stuff is nice too. But the game play is way too repeatative. The fact the animation after a death or whatever is a little too long once you've seen it a couple of times and going back to a far away starting point is pretty boring as well. I like the leveling system, even though it goes pretty slowly. 3/5
Slow paced implementation of a genera that has a lot more interesting things to offer. So slow that I can write this comment while playing the game and still win. And the upgrade path is only one deep, so basically it's just a race to get some gold. Good thing the "AI" is so limited it only sends one unit at a time.
Not bad. I kinda like the graphics, even if they are pretty simple. My one comment is that the game could use some sense of progression (next level, next wave, gradually getting faster, etc.). Once you have a level down, then you just go into a "holding pattern", since the game doesn't get any more challenging, unless you quit back to the main screen and then pick a different difficulty level.
I think this is a good first effort, but it needs a little more polish. I think the basic game engine is good, but I would consider adding a little more to the UI to make things hang together a bit more (like changing the display a bit when the isn't enough money to buy an upgrade). Or maybe adding a twist to the basic TD genre. Anyway, it's great to see anyone who can see creating a new game all the way through to completion. Good luck with the next one!
