Weirdest bug: After beating the first level, each subsequent level I tried to start immediately ended in victory before I could do anything. At least that means I got all the badges for free, but I'd rather be able to play...
It seems there's a lot of issues with paradoxes happening when they shouldn't. For example, on level 8, my timelines didn't seem to sync up and one of my past selves jumped up to the platform early/late. Once he was actually standing right in front of the time machine, but didn't go in and it registered as a paradox.
As much as I loved Super Mario Forever and Syobon action, this just feels like a much less fun knockoff of those games. It just seems like the same couple of traps reused over and over and plenty of strictly-timed jumps, rather than the brilliant wit in the level design of those other games. It's a pity, as the idea shows a lot of promise. Just come up with some new deathtraps and redesign the levels to make them much more well integrated, and in some cases forseeable.
There's only 57 quests so far, you can't advance until Nabb makes more quests.
Also, there's a problem with score submission. Quests completed is only submitted to the high score table when you advance in a quest. But if the damn high score server isn't connected to you at the time, then it won't resubmit that data later. Normally it's not a big deal as you can just wait until you finish the next quest, but since I'm at orbular the high scores table will never update to reflect that I'm on 57 instead of 55.
To make it more RPG-ish, there should be some permanent upgrades without a limit like the skill points. For example, for each map you clear, regardless of whether you've cleared it before or not, you'll gain 1 additional gold at the start of each level. For each fully upgraded unit, if you clear the level, from then on units you build start with 1 more exp point. Nothing huge, just some minor boosts so that you could go back and strengthen yourself if you have trouble with later levels.
Yay! I hadn't been able to submit me scroe for the last 30000 events before the game died, so I'm glad just to get to update my spot on the leaderboards! Oh, and play too.
