The concept of the game is great, but what really kills it is the complete inverted feeling of progress in the game. Basically the more you evolve, the more modules you unlock, thus making it harder to concentrate upgrades in only a group of them since you are constantly being fed with more and more unit types. What should be a feeling of "upgrade" ends up being a downgrade downgrade to the gameplay as you progress, which also makes nearly impossible to complete early levels since you end up with a huge line of low level modules. If I had any chance of seeing a high level module chances are I missed it on early levels.
No matter what I do the game doesn't let me connect. I'm guessing there is a range limitation towards the servers? I'm on south Brazil so I'm assuming my ping won't be lower then 200. Is the game not letting me play for that reason?
I think I spent about 12 hours total playing this game. Really loved it, but I was hoping for "something" as I went deeper. Its a bit of a let down to hit the bottom of the hottest planets once you manage to get enough upgrades just to find nothing but the end of the screen...
What I don't get it is why we only get the "star" after beating the level with only one boom? That is a stupid concept if you ask me. I'll just figure out the sequence by running several booms, memorize it and click "retry" =P
For those who already played and beat the game but lost their saves because of the badges: Click on "see all comments" and search for Liolei's comment. He made a tutorial on how you can retrieve your save file.
That is a possibility. It usually won't let you play if your ping is 500ms or greater.
