I'm not sure what the issue is but this game is really laggy despite my having plenty of computer resources available. I got about half way through but the platforming is just too annoying with the skipping
Would be nice if we could align pieces into a grid. For example the bear and the gingerbread man look like that could mesh together and be very sturdy and useful, but since doing so is near impossible, said gingerbread man is likely to mess something up as he falls to the side instead. Though this is a minor detail since the physics would render the grid useless fairly rapidly.
yes i agree with the part that its a bit difficult to mesh them together .. but yes the pieces have been designed keeping in mind that they inter-lock. :)
Return Portal is so tempting early game since it increases your chances of getting excellent/good and you get more gem experience. But then in the late game when you are getting a lot of excellents and are trying for brilliant you really find yourself wishing you spent those points elsewhere.
Would it be possible to display current job's max levels on the change job screen? I know that if you are at the max level and you select that job it pulls up a note, but it would be nice to see them on the selection grid even if it isn't reached (e.g. "Knight Level 4/6" or since the max is consistent across all characters you could have it as a static note on the side)
@Xcrypt: It isn't all that slow. Besides 100x would just destroy you in the mid to late game. Though at that point your computer would lag anyway so it wouldn't really matter, you likely wouldn't get above 10x
I like the concept but armor seems irrelevant with the current design. Very rarely am I able to recover from a collision. Rather than deflecting off I tend to get forced into the object hitting it constantly until destruction.
It kinda sucks that the back arm is so hard to see. I've messed up a few puzzles because I lost count and couldn't tell if I was on my last arm or torso. And since the game just mirrors the sprite I can't even turn around to check, it will always be on the back side.
Oh thank god I'm at the end... "Enjoy the game" THAT WAS A TUTORIAL.
Before the flamers, I am in fact uprating this. it is an original take on sidescroller platforming (though it could probably use a bit more polish). I just suck at it too much to see it through to the end.
@Sephirothfan: I don't want to spoil anything, but there comes a point that the computer goes off on a rant. You need to type in some response to get it to continue ranting, but what the response is does not matter as there is no direct objective at that time.
Is there a trick to 2-6, particularly with blowing the smoke ring up top? I got through it eventually but it felt harder than necessary with that stupid pipe sitting there.
I wish there was some incentive to collect the coins other than just the sake of doing it. Also there were a couple of gameplay points that I felt added too much annoyance. 1) I would like to be able to move without changing the direction I'm shooting. 2) The ability to make more precise movements.
