Last Flake (werewolf) is great for the boss (Ancient Fear) but you might as well start with your high dmg people first like Jake. Last Flake is invincible but it takes forever to kill those 1k hp. :(
Fun to watch but there isn't much gameplay. Push the right button at the right time; if you diverge at all, spikes. I was hoping for something like Sonic.
Instead of comments like "I can't get that yet", I should say something like "I'll have to get the coffee while she's distracted with something else," or for the tree, "I'd better wait for her to get closer; wouldn't want to miss, now would we?"
A fun quick play. Only thing I'd like to see would be an easier mode with 3 gaps or longer time. I'm not tempted to see how long I can go when I can barely make 20.
Tips for stage 16 on Epic (took me forever): get fast melee units and Time Stop whenever you can. Good fast units are phantom swords and weretigers. You need them to get right at his feet to avoid being hit, and you need him to stop right at the enemy castle so you can hit it without being hit. So it's important to get there as fast as possible. Keep Time Stop up to get your Titans in range and help keep him from advancing.
In a sequel or future update there are a few minor changes I request. Most importantly, an autofire option! I never take my hand off the space bar anyway. Also the backgrounds of the stages are very distracting. So maybe an option to fade them or grey them out? And then, I want to go back and re-hear Johnny's explanations of the different stats.
Cool game but boring as hell when you're waiting for the enemies to get to your towers. It badly needs a speed-up or send multiple waves button. And the first few waves give you so little gold, I'd rather just get more starting gold and start with some reasonably hard waves. Take out the monotony and it'd be perfect.
Ideas for the sequel: wrap around the sides (go off the right to enter the left, obviously no walls), ledges that you can jump up through, and some way to handle enemies without a mouse, for those of us using trackpads. For example, push a button to make an electric shock near you.
