How the hell did someone get 1.9 million high score? Is there some trick? I can manage maybe 600k in nightmare mode if I'm lucky and average 16 saved clicks per zone.
Leveled my standard vikings to level 25; didn't waste time upgrading islands ; upgraded cannon, rocks, and arrows; leveled up chieftains in the end to take on boss. Done. You can skip every other unit and the last two islands.
bunch of people complaining about how the game is too hard. The difficulty is fine, these people just need to learn how to play. I will note, you can lay down blockades on units to destroy them, then sell the blockade and repeat with only a small monetary loss. Its how I beat the last level.. there are so many troops piled up in one spot it made me a lot of money.
save the priest in mission 2 by have all the archers hit the skeleton chasing him, order the priest to move the right, and order the right most guard to engage the skeleton archer to he cant attack the priest.
This is a classic style tower game. A lot of people these days are used to tower defense games being more bells and whistles and about grinding. This one you have to plan things more carefully. One of the tricks to old style tower games is opening and closing paths to make creatures move back and forth
I have to say that was one difficult end boss to beat. I think it took me 20 times. Don't even bother trying without maximized runes and go after those ghosts as fast as you can. The exploding floor runes are the things you need to watch out for more than anything else.
The ability to send engineers to a system and have them automatically harvest all the resources on all the planets in it should be a standard feature, not an option you have to purchase for every fleet for every time you want to do it. I'm disappointed.
The new CR scheme is silly. You've increased the price on things I liked to buy: research and construction bonuses. Now I don't want to buy them anymore! You've added the ability to rush the construction of a building.. when its ALMOST DONE BEING MADE! Why would I spend money on doing that? Do you guys know how to sell a product?
Can you guys make a small modification to the blue circle graphic that shows up when you are preparing to move a fleet? Instead of just a circle showing maximum range, can it have a series of concentric circles, each at maybe 3 SU range. Then we can easily see how far something is away without having to mouse over. Just a UI thing to make things slightly easier to manage.

at x1 and x2 zoom the red battle icons are visible under every thing, even places they shouldn't. I increased the contrast on this screen shot as people with darker monitors had a hard time seeing it. It may be affecting game performance at those magnifications.
my suggestions contiued..
*(4)* Add a damn tech tree and let players specialize in particular techs. Let someone become a sneaky spy civ, another a war monger, and another an economic powerhouse. Allow for asymetrcial combat.
*(5)* Share resources in a system. Dont force me to shutte it back and forth between planets. Its just an extra step and 1:30 seconds wasted I could be doing something more interesting. And add some lines showing where ships are moving around, including ships from other civs.
The priest should be killed! ))
