okay, why did this get badges? you drop behind an enemy outside theirline of site and nowhere near them and it still alerts them? enemies will stop and get stuck by the entrace to areas. this game is not made well at all. people are only rating it high because it's nerdook that made it, and frankly his games are rubbish as of late. absolute rubbish, please gregojo, no more nerdook badges.
you know what i love, tutorials that try to teach how to do something by telling you to click this and then click that and voila you did that. i end up going "wait, how did i do that?" most of the time. LUCKILY, i've played this game before, ceasary it was called back then. but i think they changed the name or something. glad to see it's back on Kong.
was this game written by an illiterate Buhtanese child or something? every time i try to shoot, run, jump, or anything with respect to actually playing this game it will lag out for 5 seconds or so. I mean, my computer isn't the greatest but this is just terrible.
The Good: fun game, simplistic, amusing dialogue, and no long drawnout cutscenes.
The Bad: i got lag, badly at times, might just be me though; enemy hitboxes seemed MINISCULE to me. i couldn't hit some of the smaller ones, like at all. whereas my hitbox was larger than that of the actual drawing of my ship; and the dialogue was fun, but i couldn't concentrate on it, since, there were you know, enemies trying to kill me at the same time. i did have the game muted though.
OVERALL: good game, 5/5 for a good effort and intent. minor issues like this don't bother me. one of my rare 5/5 ratings.
i'm not bothered by the money issue right now, it's quite common in games now and it's not like it's killing you from playing the game at the level i'm at right now. what i do have an issue with is the energy system. why bother having an energy system like this? it makes it take unnecessary time to play, which is annoying. another issue i have is the guilds. i like the idea of having to have a guild to build stuff, it's a less used idea which is kinda refreshing. but it's too costly to actually have a guild at any sort of level where it could help you. overall, i really like the game, but these issues annoy me.
this is probably the hardest Papa's game, and i've played all the others, but this one, the build station is so difficult to get a perfect on. and the grill station is much more complex than the others.
this is an exercise in how long can you put up with controls that unresponsive, and useless. seriously, you have no control over where you move or how you attack. you point and click and hope it does what you want it to do. it's stupid and annoying.
90% of the problems with this game come from the creators of the actual levels being logically inconsistent and having absurd ideas of what is possible to do and what is not. the other 10% come from the physics of the game, where catching a pixel of you on your back, is enough to have you come to a screeching halt during one of these absurdly impossible runs, that is only possible if you can defy the laws of the game.
this is a good game overall though it has some serious flaws. there is no consistency, there are times when random stuff just happens and screws you over, like blocks not lining up when they should and blacks sliding and then stopping sliding and jumping in the middle of the slide. it's just annoying when you are trying your hardest and the game screws you over.
blew through the first island, came to the second island and can't do anything. i die so fast and can barely kill even the easiest of enemies. playing as a warrior, there is no difficult curve here, it is a sheer cliff, watch out when you step off.
anyone else feel like the enemies cars have significantly better turning radiuses than you do? even when you have maneuverability maxed, i still feel like i'm not able to turn as well as they are.
levels with all the same color platforms is not a good idea. it can be really difficult to see the edges at times hence making timing horribly difficult.
