A little hint:
Agile is pretty much the most valuable skill in the game. It's worth taking less useful things if you can play a character with it. It's the fastest way to build up wealth and XP and the game is much more fun on top of that. I haven't gotten many (or any) level 4 skills yet but I appear to be the only person that's even gotten there. :D
A couple bugs:
The wolf looking end boss one flew down off screen and never came back.
The the character goes off screen, it can disappear. You can still force blast or use specials to no effect. The game continues, you are just in limbo.
I have to disagree or at least address the comment made by DragonArcherZ, who is perhaps a kid.
Yes, nerdook, your games are generally short, but you also make them for free. They are also extremely, actually PROFOUNDLY original, not just aesthetically but in concept and execution. A lot of people might not quite grasp that. I think you'd have to be fairly entitled to believe that a person can just spend their time making all of one's dreams come true for nothing.
Keep making amazing games. I think you're well aware of the "make it longer and with 10,000 more features" complaints. I would of course love a couple of your games to go on a bit longer, but I look forward to every new one you make.
I encountered the event where you can can some corpses sleeping and steal jewelry, it said that I gained 3 coins and the threat level increased. I didn't actually gain any coins, nothing changed?
Well my Peen class is pretty tough. My master Peen, Forskinn the Mighty, was able to get really far by just putting everything in strength. Don't mess with peens.
Another fun and original game from one of my favorite developers on Kong. I can't really add much to what others have said. Wish it could be played a bit longer and there does seem to be game balance issues with classes, but that is usually the case in Roguelikes and that's part of the "challenge." I think even if this game were expanded a bit it could be another big classic on here.
It's really pretty with fancy special effects and opera music, but I think I'll play Spectromancer or Elements for free. I have paid a lot of money to games on KG, some much more deserving than others. I don't see much originality here, but it's well-presented. More interesting might have been an adaptation of an actual card RPG game like Pathfinder, or something other than a mere pay for card pack money leech type game.
But... there WILL be a Mac release! It says so on the Greenlight page. Just no Mac builds yet, but soon!
