Great game, makes you think. The controls are a bit odd, but aren't bad at all once used to them. My only qualm with the game is the radioactive symbols in the acid, or whatever it is. Seems...cheap. Ditch those, and you'd be better off. 4/5
You gotta love a game that can be played one handed. The continue feature when you die is nice. I'd love to see a save feature, and the ability to have more than one weapon; or at the very least, an explanation of what each weapon does. If you've got a crossbow, and find the orb and don't know what it does, you've just lost a good weapon for one that does far less damage and sticks to walls. Some would find a use for this, but not all.
So, in summation, it reminds me a bit of Mario, awesome that you can play one handed, good variety of weapons; but add a guide of what they do, or the ability to carry multiples.
Love that it's been made, but make it playable. Drop the endless rotation, and the fact that if you touch the side the next piece drops is killing me. It would be the only way to stabilize your piece as is. I saw that comic this morning and said "That would be fun. A great twist on a game I'm good at, but am tired of". Please, fix it and make it somewhat playable. I know there are people out there (such as myself) that will only be mildly thrown off by the rounded bottom.
Lame. Anyone working in the IT field is quite familiar with your concepts, and I personally laugh at you.
That said, there are far more entertaining ways to screw with people. Your best bet is to make it a .bat, and drop it in the default path specified when opening cmd. (Typically c:\users\YOUR NAME or c:\documents and settings\YOUR NAME, depending on OS). Then, for your .bat, someintg self replicating is always fun. So, you could make a bat, name it Fred, and the only line you'd need in it would be "start fred". With this, it'll continuously open more instances of itself. Entertaining to see how many you can get open before the computer crashes.
Good game. The upgrades are nice, and gives you something to strive for (same with the concept of clearing on expert). Does need an upgrade hotkey, and, unless I'm missing it, a way to change game quality in game (gets laggy for me with 4 or so super towers blasting 5+ waves at a time). Also, and this is only a little touch, but the ability to see how many kills each of your towers has logged would be nice.
Wouldn't be too bad if Granma wasn't driving. No one accelerates that slowly, not to mention the speed the wheel is turned at. 3/5 for the work behind it, but come on now. I can't "enjoy" without running around like a mad-man. Maybe add some pedestrians...
