The fact that you can still win even AFTER you fail (assuming that the pieces are still in motion after the "FAIL" screen comes up) is both hilarious and awesomely convenient.
Not to sound like a n00b or anything, but...HOW DO YOU GET THE LAST PIXIE (the one on the platform near the magic totem pole things)? I've tried everything I can think of, but I can't seem to get Sly up there.
Epic amounts of lag aside, this is actually a pretty interesting game. Having multiple respawning allies (that you can upgrade) is cool, and the upgrade system itself forces a choice between powerful single-purchase weapons and cheaper multi-stage upgrades. The atmosphere is also quite frantic, but I was surprised at how simple beating the game actually was (only took me three tries).
Keep up the good work...but maybe try to tone down the effects next time. The lag is atrocious.
I have only two complaints about this otherwise awesome game: the consecutive Perfect Launch missions (which are nigh-impossible, I tell you) and the fact that your achievement progress only counts if it happens during an active "mission". Other than that, this game is even more awesome than the first - keep up the good work!
This game is a shining example of how to take the "Learn to Fly" formula and play it right. Enough upgrades to provide a variety of options, enough money gain to unlock the next level just as the current vehicle becomes obsolete, and smooth(ish) controls adds up to one great drive through the zombie apocalypse.
This is an interesting game, but it has a fair few flaws. The hit detection is a bit buggy, the later enemies are a bit too tough for the weapon switching system to be useful (basically forcing tedious bow spam and/or pixel-perfect staff spam from just outside their range), and the frying pan is a lot less useful than I think you intended it to be.
That being said, it's a good try and an old game, so I forgive you. Nice to see how much you've improved since then, eh?
My main complaint with this game is the lack of a "clean blood" or "No blood" feature. After dying so many times, it starts to lag a lot.
Also, would it have been so hard to give the computer/overseer a villainous breakdown at the end? I was looking forward to it flipping out when I refused to give up and finish all 40 levels.
Still, this is a solid platform (hell) game - and I don't even LIKE those that much, so that's saying something. The fact that there's no badge for completing it with a certain time or death limit helps, too - I HATE those even more than I hate the completely brainless idiot humans that seem to flock to the Internet.
Maybe I'm hearing things, but I think you can anticipate the bombs: if you hear cannon fire in the background (a sort of quiet "pop" noise), a bomb is probably going to drop on the next roof or so.

Uh, quick question: Do Nukes appear in the final boss fight on Easy? I'm trying to complete the Bestiary before I begin my Impossible run, but the darn Valkyrie refuses to spawn a Nuke!
The only thing that could make this game better is the addition of a save feature. Do you know how infuriating it is to have quadruple-digit starting cash, only to lose it the next time you play?!
Given that I HATE these kinds of games, it's a testament to how great this one is that I can play it and ALMOST enjoy it. The only real flaw is the slightly buggy hit detection - I don't cling to walls fast enough, and hazards kill me even though I wasn't touching them. On the other hand, the graphics are nice, the animations are smooth, the level design is diabolical without being cheap (apart from the aforementioned buggy hitboxes), and the music catchy. Good job!
I know everyone probably knows this, but...if you want to unlock everything really quickly (WITHOUT the secret cheats), follow this simple four-step program. 1) Keep as many enemies on the screen as your lag will allow. 2) Buy scythe as soon as you hit 5000 dollars. 3) Own the living crap out of things until you get enough for the nuke. 4) Enjoy Freestyle Mode!
