Thoroughly enjoying the game thus far. A few very minor suggestions I would make for any future updates:
1. Add a new sound for getting hit when you have a shield. It's very misleading when you're chasing a 1000 chain and you hear the damage sound without breaking your chain.
2. I often used space bar to open the upgrade menu and then released the mouse button, but in doing so selected the wrong upgrade. Is there any way to require a full mouse click in order to upgrade?
3. A link to the trophies directly from the post-game screen would be nice, instead of having to go back to the menu.
Good game! (Oh, and the menu screen timing out back to the intro voice is REALLY creepy when you live alone and are busy typing comments. haha :-))
Sarah McLachlan's 'Elona':
Spend all your time waiting
for that six-slotted gun
For the mod that would make it okay
There's always one reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard after each passing day,
I need some more sisters
Oh beautiful AP
Random number hate seeps from my veins
Let me get active
And disarm and maybe
I'll find some drops tonight
In the arms of Elona
Flying mobs appear
From the left of the screen
With the suicide clowns that you fear
You were screwed by the aimed shot
On day seventy-three
You're in the arms of Elona
You will find no comfort here
So tired of the FX
And every time I blink
There's chickens and sheep on attack
And recruits keep on missing
You keep equipping three hammers
That you use up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference
Escaping one more time
It's impossible to achieve
Oh this is madness
Oh this glorious sadness
When the death skull looks at me
I have the same results with this game as I had with the first one. Though I'm intrigued, I consistently get stuck on loading screens, with my only option being to refresh the page and log in again. This very quickly renders the game unenjoyable and unplayable. I do not have this issue with any other game on Kong.
haha, that's an absolutely devastating final boss; 10 million HP!
To anybody who thinks this game gets hard too fast, remember that you have towers that create money, and later on, when you've got a few of those raking in the cash, you can quicken the reload rate for the sniper towers. A level 13 sniper with fully reduced reload is pretty impressive.
My advice for getting the hard badge: don't work. Study quite a bit of combat in the beginning, magic (mostly for defense) later. After age 17 or so, don't pick stuff up unless you need it, it creates more stress. Also, you don't need to 100% clear very many places to get 20, so try not to waste time.
Lastly, Spartan_329... find a dictionary. Honestly...
Once you get all the upgrades, every level can be experted with about 5 basic slow towers, 1 super tower upgraded to your liking, and lots and lots and lots of small bombs.
I really don't understand why so many episodes of this game have been granted badges. The hard setting on this game was a joke. 9 of the 11 levels (including the bonus) required no more than a strategy of "Don't be stupid.", while levels 4 and 6 seem to require a specific turn by turn move pattern (see youtube). I say "seem" because I have been able to pass neither on hard due to the overabundance of 1-hit kill opportunities given to my opponent. There are plenty of games out there with incredible AI tactics; this game is not one of them and I am yet again disappointed.
There seems to be an issue with the homing settings. During survival mode there are times where all of the missiles or rockets just fly directly off of the screen. I'm not aware of any enemies that can't be targeted with homing weapons, but the problem occurred repeatedly throughout the session.
