I had this game at 5 stars until I realized how much experience you could accumulate simply by doing the very first level over and over. With just the first 3 modes unlocked, you can easily score over 10k exp in a few seconds.
I really don't like that in the fixed levels, you still experience a reduced sell price, meaning that you have to quit and start over every time you change your mind. Can you change this?
-Piple, maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me that if with 60 chickens, you're only getting double the $ that you'd get with 30... that it would take a ridiculous number of days to pay for the initial cost of the chickens.
-elonashoota: Thanks, that's good to know in terms of my gameplay, but I find it disappointing overall. Why incorporate upgrades if they are minimally essential?
That said, I do like the game and I sense that I'm missing some strategical aspect to the whole thing. Could somebody give a few suggestions for what to focus on in the first 5 days or so? It's not usual that I rely on comments for games on here, but I really would like to see what this game has to offer.
Alright... I've played this game about 12 times now, and I am becoming more and more disappointed. Despite the fact that the cost of higher upgrades increases drastically, it seems that after expenses I get less and less money each day. Also, why is the only stat difference between a lvl 1 rifle and a level 6 rifle a mere 13 damage? By the time I can equip a lvl 6 rifle, that difference is incredibly minor. I've tried buying chickens, but after about 30 or so, it costs $300 for a chicken but I only recieve about $300-500 each day from ALL the chickens, so I don't see how that's financially sensible... does this change with many more chickens? I also rarely see the sense in buying anything unless I have a special coin.
woot! Day 4 92.95 vs. 92.92! Keep your service at Super Fast (this will make up for his improvements until he adds a 2nd floor on day 18 or so). Buy the 2nd shop when you can raise the cash in 2 days. I didn't buy a 3rd shop, but I think if I had I could have won by more.
I do like this game, but I wish the time before each level was a bit longer, and sometimes the piece descriptions don't fade and block the playing area.
Marcus... read the comment 2 before you... if you watch the background, it shows you what's coming.
In other news, those pigs are excellent front-flippers. :-)
I like this kind of game... but this one moves WAY too slow for me... is there a speed up button that I'm missing? I can't really read any of the 10,000 buttons in my kong screen...
Okay, second thoughts... I really enjoy the game, and a lot of thoughtful aspects of it, but it does get pretty monotonous rather quickly... either way, games like this are why we have Kong.
