You can cast spells on multiple targets by pressing to the side, rather than the 'up' and 'down' key. I know that this information is written in the bottom of page 19 of the Help page but in my opinion Pseudolonewolf should somehow have introduced us to this - since I remember (since chapter 2 where I discovered it by accident) it being crucial to be able to heal all characters in one turn, or using a spell on multiple weaker targets at once; killing them all at once.

I happened to successfully remove regen from an enemy, so therefore my question is obviously answered: "Degeneration 10%" does in fact grand opportunity to remove regen from the one you successfully strike.
I just have to be completely sure: "Degeneration 10%" means that there is a 10 % chance of removing regen on the one you strike, and not a passive ability on yourself, right?
Captain Obvious was by for a cup of tea but he couldn't tell me the answer, so instead I had to go to you; my fellow Mardek RPG players.
@elmarti315 I often had bugs where I lost control of the miners, all I had to do was right click outside of the game window and then click inside again - and then for some reason it worked again.
@SephirothXIII, yeah alright - though the Zodiac Goats are of no value when you have no gold as far as I've understood (since it consumes 5 gold to use a Zodiac Goat). And I know I won't ever buy gold - I'm just playing this game for the batches. Wouldn't it be more useful to buy 1x De Architectura Outline (build time reduced by 15 minutes) then, or am I missing something about those freaky goats?
I have a question regarding the hint Therealtahu is giving. I now have 45 gold and have "Buy Item" quest that will give me 10 gold. Is it included in the hint that I should get 5 gold from buying some random thing for 5 gold and then get the 5 gold to have a total of 50 gold - or will I be getting 5 gold from another quest - and then I will buy the Motivation Speech and THEN get 10 more gold, or how is it?
Caesary is not the first game of it's kind - there's been many almost identical to this game. They will not make builders or speedups cost non-gold ever. It's their primary income: by having the most tempting thing cost money.
This game should have something that made it easier in the end. Some are obvious reactions but later on, when all the non-obvious ones are left - it's very time-consuming to sit and try all illogical combinations out to make sure that didn't miss something.
There should be some kind of "these elements have been matched before"-trigger. Like if you clicked, or started dragging, an element - it would turn all the elements gray that you had tried to match the chosen element with before.
It's a nice lesson that this game is trying to teach - and very simple told indeed - although I think it's missing a few aspects of social life.
Doing what you are told cannot be generalized to making people love you.
And doing whatever you want can neither be generalized to making other people hate you.
Yes, there is a code of social things you have to obey to be able to become "loved" - but that isn't equal to "what other people tell you".
I find that there is a conclusion to that social complex:
Learn the rules so you can play the game
- and then play it your own way.
Maybe better explained as:
"Making other people love you for doing the things that they actually like - but doing it in a way that you like to do it."
It requires going through a lot to find your own path, indeed, but at least in my opinion it sure is worth it all.
Barret is too powerful, killing way too much stuff. A clue to easy winning: first level: put 5 in search for weapons (giving you the revolver - which is much better for headshots and killing in general) and 7 in search for survivors. Next level put 12 in Search for survivors - Next level put 1 (if you are under 50%) or 2 (if you are under 30%) in repair and the rest in survivors. When you have all 7 survivors (including you) you start searching for weapons again. Put 12 in search for weapons and only repair when you have less than 65% - when you have the hunting rifle you can do whatever you want - but having all survivors all the time is best since the last survivor grants you many headshots (he's equipped with a hunting rifle) instead of just kills.
Great game. Usually when I discover the trick to win all levels I usually get bored of games pretty quickly but it isn't that way with this game. Three tips that will make your chances of survival much much higher:
1. Buildings are free if not upgraded - And by that I mean the recycle value is 100% if not upgraded - so all buildings are spammable.
2. Only upgrade Solar Cells and the 1 or 2 (in difficult levels) Energy Storages and just generally go for spamming non-upgraded miners all over to empty the map of minerals. I usually have a minerals per minute on about 10000+ until the screen is empty of minrals and then I build a camp in the middle with a "shield" of pulsers.
3. No missiles, ever (they cost valuable minerals which are not there to the infinity, unlike energy).
Hit a spike at 5,689 feet (height) xD
Anyway, yeah, the golden gun is definately the only important thing in this game (to get length). Got 5,374,782 feet without nukes - I may be lucky to get ammo refills quite often but the point is still there. The cannons only help you for the first 100,000 feet or so. And the same with the jet pack - except it's like a more expensive chest bomb.
Okay, I completed the insane mode again - and, yeah, the first level is by far the hardest level - which is nice. Also, every level after the first level has luck as a very high factor - since sometimes the levels are easy (where you barely have to move) and sometimes they're impossible (literally). Anyway, I'm just reporting with a screenshot.
I forgot what to do if you don't receive the badge - it only happend to me once before this and that was like 2 years ago.
Oh well, I'll just complete insane mode again.
