My Natalie is always being focused on - or at least, she's always the one to die when it's time for exp. I'm starting to worry it's not just pure coincidence.
I'm not sure if I like the fact that having a character or two killed at winning time yields no exp. Especially not if they were full HP before the enemy's turn, got killed and then the monster died from status effects. It gives me choice between reloading the save game and trying again or ignoring that those characters will be half a level behind in exp.
@Razrblade I think I know what you mean. I felt invincible throughout all the time up to after I defeated the first boss. Then I just changed it to Epic difficulty. Sometimes enemies are ridiculously strong and it becomes a big mistake to send a new wave of enemies in, without having a turn first. Other times it's just challenging. I recommend playing on that if you find it too easy. It gives shiny medals too.
When I've run the game for several hours (even AFK) the battle animations starts to cause lag. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've found that reloading the page fixes the issue. I play on the highest graphic setting btw.

Enjoyable game. I played it through twice. It's a bit too easy though, there's really no penalty in dying - not that there have to be, but in this game it's a good thing, because you will get extra money. Also, the upgrades could use some balancing. Magnet coin level 2 or 3 was sufficient enough for me to not really move around to get all the coins - and it costed almost nothing to get that. 3/5
And wrothmonk, there is, press space to pause the game, and then click the "Pants" tab on the right to see your pants. Click on any of them to change your current color.
Kailen4, the way I got it was, obviously by luck, but I got it by aiming for the ones I had a hard time hitting, meaning all the close-to ground special gummies.
This is the one game I can get #1 All-time highscores in and then the highscore system takes it as cheating... I even submitted a video to prove I can get over 1 minute left on extreme random attack, which basically means I could go on forever - the video was accepted and the score was inserted - but then I checked 5 days later and the highscore was removed without me being notified. It just makes me think there really isn't any point in highscores (since it's usually cheaters at top 100 in most games anyway).
A lot of the weapons aren't worth what they cost, and you have no idea which they are until you make the mistake and buy them. The worst part is that this buy can destroy your possibilities of winning the game. This leads to reading guides and/or comments on which things to actually choose to have a chance at this game. Additionally, since all the levels are only playable once. It's very important to be ready to die in a level if you're not prepared enough to get the amount of money that will suffice. Completing a level means nothing if you didn't get the money - and the score only means something if you're going for a highscore - but my advice is, if you really care about the score, find a way to win the game first, then you can worry about the score on the next playthrough. I agree with the top comments 3/5.
My highscore says 75 hearts collected, and I did complete the game previously - but the badge keeps saying 12/15 collected - I got the other badges though.
How come when he has only one arm and/or leg it keeps being the one behind him from our point of view? So... he's not really turning around, he's mirroring himself - this guy keeps surprising me...
I'm a hobby musician, and I didn't really expect much from this game, but it was actually quite good. The only 2 things I would criticize was: 1. The horrible delay effects that I can't seem to remove from the percussion. 2. The fact that you can't move the play bar back to the start of the page (I would expect pausing [which should be mapped to the SPACE key imo] and playing again plays the page from the start). The rest of the issues, like the fact that the music doesn't follow the tempo correctly if there's too many sounds to process etc., are things I don't think you could expect optimized in free step sequencers, so that's fine. 4/5
You know, I wish there were more secret levels that just kept increasing in difficulty. Levels that would require a bunch of flash-puzzle-experts to discuss and brainstorm for hours or days.
If you, like me, wondered if you could complete the second secret level, then look no further:
Jesse Venbrux stated "It’s not possible to get further than that one." on his blog. Here's the link if you want to read it yourself: http://www.venbrux.com/blog/?p=78
If a ninja is alone, all you can do is count on the first hit, the hits just before the gem and meteor shower. This obviously means that you are required to get enough skill-points in order to be able to damage enough with that few hits. And that means you have to spend hours playing the same maps over and over (it's slow even on constant fast forward) just to be able to get enough skill points to get brilliant rating? Come on...
@MSIFreak, the chord progression is similar but it isn't a copy if that's what you're referring to. Then again, all chord progressions are pretty much 'taken' if that's the way you look at it. Axis of Awesome did a beautiful outline of this by their popular song "4 chord song". To me, it's not really about that, it's just what the music expresses, and the music fit this game just fine imo.
The living characters get more exp if others are dead.
