There's nothing more frustrating than allied soldiers who don't shoot an enemy that's brawling with one of our own guys...even when they're RIGHT NEXT to them
Wave 35, and I have 3 soldiers and 5 mortars on my side. Never tried this before, but it's surprisingly effective. They keep everything pinned down and under heavy fire.
"Who tunes in to watch people get along?"..."Peace is boring, violence goes viral"-- a highly accurate portrayal of today's society. It's sad just how true this is. 5/5
1/5 There are more than six differences on the first level. Take a close look at the 3rd building from the left...the lights aren't the same. But you can't identify it as a difference. Very unfortunate.
I agree with Hertz, it seems like the developer didn't consider the feedback that a majority of players from the previous game left, which was that our choices should have a greater impact on the outcome of the story. As it currently stands, this is just a linear path with no game-changing decisions to make. I, too, noticed that the dialogue interaction only works within a restricted range of the "E" bubble. It should begin working as soon as the bubble pops up. Another problem: why do you list only J and K as controls on the combat screen? It took me a while to figure out that Space was the jumping button. Why isn't it W or the up arrow? Very awkward. Aside from that, the graphics and combat are nice, but the previous game was excellent without those. My recommendation: focus less on combat/questing and more on a good story with rich decision-making. I give it 3/5.
Thanks for the solid criticism. I would've loved to focus more on making choices that have more consequence and effects but like with all of my games, they're huge learning experiences for me. I can only focus on so many things at once. This game needed more artwork and better programming, as well as way more planning. Adding branching stories onto that would've made it too much of a workload for just one game. This is something I want to learn and improve on soon, though.
Thank you! Glad you had fun.
