Agreed with unholybunnyman about the last boss, to an extent. If you concentrate entirely on defense and counters, it IS easy...which is fine when those pieces are on the board. Not so much when they aren't.
Fun, frantic dodge action, but the pill spawn seems to be a bit off sometimes; I've died before from the meter filling when no pills have spawned for ages. Also, it seems slightly off that touching a stationary die should kill you, but that's not a huge deal. 3/5
As an addendum to the above; you've got four seconds to decipher and complete each game, right? What players EXACTLY DO NOT NEED is the instruction text to hang around on screen during that time, let alone MOVE ACROSS IT; this is poor, poor design.
I had to downrate this; it's too inconsistent. Part of why WarioWare works so well and this doesn't is that the former's difficulty curve is consistent, the games are always clear and, importantly, fair; for example, I've had lines unavoidably spawn on me on Avoid The Lines more than once. Good effort, and you've got to admire the manic WarioWare spirit, but too badly flawed to be a classic. 2/5.
An extremely impressive achievement overall, but dude, those helicopters are just a bit too hard. Toning them down or somehow integrating some extra ways to take them down would go a long way. The Perception skill could also use a rethink; having that HUD at the top isn't all that useful, and is sometimes kind of invasive.
Great fun, but slightly choppy to control sometimes, and not having collapsing building inflict damage is an oversight and a half. And yeah, upgrades of some sort would be brilliant; it's a good way to get players invested in their character, especially with branching trees rather than linear get-incrementally-better paths. Fantastic effort though.
This is a fantastic game that's unfortunately too broken to be much fun for long; as well as the corrupted saves mentioned all over, I've had the sound glitch and loop, the cursor get stuck on a particular build mode and ignore further inputs, workers refusing to get on elevators...it's a real shame, because you nearly had SimTower Online Except Not Boring. 3/5; would've been a 5 if it worked properly.
