If you were going off of my premise for prestige, you missed the mark, by a lot. Also, offline progress is 100% doable in Stencyl. I messaged you with some details.
Be neat to see a skill specific prestige system in this, i.e. you have maxed out the cat poster. You can now pay to prestige it, where it resets, and both cost per level and effect increase. For example, you prestige the poster and now it costs twice as much, but also gives 2 dollars per upgrade instead of one. The critical hit bonus could prestiged to increase the multiplier, and the weight skill could be broken in to smaller parts, say 5 or 10 levels per weight set, that each set has a higher starting number than the previous tier. That would take this from a "Took me an hour" game to an "I'm still playing this dozens of hours later!" game. Of course, just my opinion unless this gets upvoted :D Love the work though, you have a great base game here.
Yup...cool new updates...all good things added. I mean now it's going to take me years to go from e30 employees to e31, but no biggie :D Next update definitely needs more of those employee bonus maybe starting with an extra +e1 per upgrade level bought. It would definitely balance things out a bit better.
The cap on the Purchase bonus for the Data items definitely needs to be removed. You are already limited to basically being able to only purchase up to +e4 of your influence regen in any kind of decent time, and in order to raise that significantly, you have to prestige with at least +e1 employees from where you were. That being said, once you have hit the ability to max purchase bonus, at present, you are done with the game, with hard drives only being about .1% cost efficient to purchasble growth, making them not even worth messing with, as you can get enough employees to max out influence without ever having purchased a hard drive. Still a well done game, and I definitely hope there is more to come.
More content is coming this week, it will have rebalanced prestige system with more bonuses available, more upgrades, more achievements, thanks for the feedback!
Just a thought, but you could add a lot of expansion by adding a bunch of extra tiers. Some suggestions (From hard drive up) Server, Server Farm, Server Farm Network, World Wide Web, Galactic Net, Universal Net.
It would be neat if you could find a way to quantify part of the learning algorithm of each behavior, and have upgrades that would accelerate the learning process in each of those categories. Would be especially awesome for those of us building insane tracks :D Awesome work guys...super jealous of this magnificent piece of work.
The idea about quantifying is correct, but in this low abstraction level of environment it would be really hard, because there is nothing else to learn than avoiding walls or obstacles. So I think that I am not able to find any abstraction layer inside this process which could make a quantization possible :-/. To achieve something like this the drivers must have an "environment perception"- and a "decision making"-network in a its brain and the game should be 3D to enable camera (eye-like) vision, futhermore this will require much more CPU cycles than it even now takes ;-) , BUT with the new upcoming neuromorphic chips it is maybe realizable one day! ... For now I'm still thinking about implementing supervised learning, where you can drive manually and your drivers learn from this reference. Thanks for nice words, as I am doing this in my free time its always nice to get some feedback like this! =)
@sharpnova Keep playing, stuff unlocks.
@Deatharsenal: The first number is how many employees you will get on reset, the second and third numbers show your progress (in spreadsheets) to your next employee.
I'm shocked no one else has mentioned this, but there DEFINITELY needs to be a way to throw away/enhance/combine/recycle cards, in that order :P. I've only just begun collecting cards, and my collection is fast becoming unmanageable. Quick fixing this needs to be a priority, before any negative connotation befalls this AWESOME and unique prestige system. Absolutely love it though, guys (and gals, if applicable), and am on the edge of my seat to see what comes next. Thank you for doing what you do for all of us :D
It's very...basic. Nothing idle about it...Not really sure where the soccer part comes in either. Maybe some extra upgrades are in order? Coin magnet? Coin value multiplier? There are a lot of "industry standards" that this game is missing. However, it does run, and it runs pretty well, and the bunny clouds are pretty cute. 3/5, with a lot of room for improvement.
And just so we are clear on what I mean by ages: At 500 ryos spent per click, times 20 clicks per second, I am spending 10000 ryos per second. 3483063258 ryos / 10000 ryos per sec = 348307 sec = 5806 min = 96.75 hrs that I would have to run my autoclicker straight to spend them all. Super fun times :D
So yeah...after the update, I have 3.4 billion jade ryos...not that im ungrateful, but it is going to take AGES to spend, even with an autoclicker, and the max button just crashes firefox. Mebbe shift and ctrl could be like x10 and x100 multipliers for the jade ryo buttons, making them equal 100 and 1000, and 1000 and 10000 respectively. Would still take ages, but it would be a few less ages :P
Double or nothing game ought to have a bet amount, instead of it being all. It's not worth risking everything you have, on a blind bet. Also, your odds of winning should be displayed (even if it is 50/50), and, if you were so inclined, maybe there could be an upgrade that increases your odds of winning by a small percentage per level. Just my 2 cents, of course.
Is it a language barrier thing? Parlez-vous français? Parli italiano? Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Вы говорите России? あなたは日本語を話します? hablas español? Respond in your native language, and we will Google Translate the hell out of it. Then we will google translate the hell out of our comments and write it back. Just respond...once!!!
My OCD says: There are nubs on the left hand side of all the pixel boxes. There are no nubs on the right. Kill them with fire!! For real though, not a huge priority...but symmetry is beautiful. Add nubs to right side, or take them away from the left. Totally awesome game though. Love the work you're putting in to it.
Oh, well sorry i guess.. and yea I saw those messages
