For being an "easy" mode it sure is impossible to not die as a barbarian. I shudder to think of what the other classes are like.
Strategy and player choice have basically no bearing on survivability because there's no way to heal.
It's really irritating when the sluggish, laggy, low-resolution graphic games like this don't let you lower the video quality to get things running smoother.
Level 1 was stupid hard for an introductory stage, I should have taken it as a sign of the game's general design philosophy. Level 6 was where I had to call it quits - a long chain-jump in midair over a pit requiring a directional change the keyboard is unwilling to interpret.
The music was pleasant and the game was mostly functional, but there was no indication that I'd collected all the papers. I'd have given it a third star if it indicated victory in some way, or even if the text written near where you started counted down and said "X papers left to find"
That is your choice and I respect it.
