If i was the last surviving balloon pilot in an entire attacking force i wouldn't keep going forward into the solid wall of flak. Oh no no. I'd turn right around and bomb my army's command post. Their commanders ought to be executed for extreme ineptitude and stupidity.
So the second ending was the last one i got after getting everything else. Getting it consisted of me chasing birds around for 2 minutes with yakkety sax playing in my head.
Some of the things you do to get pips don't make the slightest bit of sense. And it kind of forgot about the plot near the end. We never even got the penguin back where he belongs! And i guess blocking the skeleton from view works, but he should really go back to his show too. Bah, i'm probably just reading too much into this. Pretty good game anyways.
The only times my castle got damaged was when the game lagged out from spitting out too many coins at the same time. Oh and the stupid civilians. Wear a different color than the enemies idiots...
Overall another fairly decent puzzle platformer. The mechanics are familiar and some levels take the 'puzzle' out of puzzle platformer (like 22). Not really any innovation here, but fun for puzzle platformer fans.
The best (and only) strategy you'll need after a while is just to max out the invelnerability spell and mana pool, hold out till you get about 300 mana, then cast the spell and rush everyone, recasting the spell whenever the counter reaches 2.
Then the only issue is choosing troops whose attacks don't get resisted/absorbed by the enemy.
