This game does a great job of conveying how different adventuring playstyles work. The hyper-offense of the Barbarian plays very differently than the calculated outranging of the Ranger or the sneaky hit-and-run, go-up-and-down-stairs of the Rogue.
@Clarrie If the gems have been untouched, they are upright and slightly bob up and down as they float in place. If they've been grabbed but returned or whatever, they're static on their side.
Hint: Capture Ra-Gorod as soon as you can. Just overwhelm it with numbers, buy lots of potions, whatever you need. Once you get it, and buy several Berserkers on your front lines, you may as well have already won the game.
Is there a guide (or could someone write a little post here) about all the small secrets in each level? What the levers do, the trap doors, the buttons, the chandeliers, etc?
I HATE this food system. Every few battles my characters go useless, and they're high enough level that making a measly three food items takes substantial resources, which I then have to replenish by fighting lower-level mooks, which makes my characters hungry! What was the point of this?
Is anyone else having problems where the last stages freezes and jerks around whenever lava appears? I have the quality as low as I can, but it's not helping.
This was actually a really fun game. Not that challenging, but the elevators housing different weapons gave it a more interactive quality. I'd like to see readings of how much damage per second each elevator deals, so you know exactly which is the strongest to switch into a group of strong monsters.
