Hit a point where scouts cost as much as dreadnaughts and have a few upgrades for scouts, yet they don't even produce 1/100th of what dreadnoughts produce? Really? There are way to many idle games on kong to put up with sillyness like that. Upgrades are only bought so you can get to new production/ppi every other upgrade is absolutely useless since dreadnoughts are all that matter and they don't get upgrades. Bad balance makes for a bad game. Imo skip this game and find another idle game, there are enough like this one but with better balance.
So new game plus seems to be the same thing as starting over. Even the ending is the same. No real point to playing + unless you really want to play over again as far as i can tell.
I wish there was some warning you were reaching gold cap. Being able to sell food when at cap is kinda stupid. Also, this is a bad game for anyone looking for an idle game, i'm 3 hours in and it's still not remotely idle. Outside of "wait for food before you *manually* sell it before hitting cap and having the game make zero progress". Because that's not idle at all...
The costs in this game are weird. It ends up with the "highest" stuff dirt cheap. By the time you unlock lvl 100 D you have well over 200H and the upgrades you get for D mine as well be free with how out of proportion it is. 1TD to go from 99-100 and quin for the upgrades, that's like pocket change. Why not just give the upgrades for free if you can't buy them earlier (when the cost is relevant and not what you are making every .04 seconds)...
There are certain points where speed moves you back, so stuff gets smaller, but before big ones show up. Then it goes so fast clicking little ones becomes frustratingly difficult. But you don't have big ones yet...but it seems you need to level up (aka catch them) to get big ones...Just feels like bad design. Atm i'm at lvl 54 with 2 things left to buy in tier 2 and can't catch much (this being the 3rd time this has happened). makes progress painfully slow and frustrating as you miss 10 clicks before you get one.
For anyone just starting, when you Rebirth you lose all levels/stat point but will keep all buildings. It's better to stack Int early on because it'll help build faster which will help a great deal in future rebirths.
I have to second Yeonorman. I think Conquering only needing troops (with an increased amount needed) would work well. This reset I didn't even bother buying any troop making things other than monasteries and it's given me more then enough troops to take things over. Gold is needed for so many other things that I tend to wait awhile before spending any on conquests. So my troop count tends to get ridiculously high just from monasteries alone. Now if it just needed troops I'd dump gold into the troop producing stuff so i could start taking stuff over asap.
Not a bad idle game. But if you can only spawn things in 10s, 100s and 1000s...why is there achivements for 25,75 etc? Unless you can buy things in singles and i'm just not seeing where to do that>.>
So far I love the new changes. And YAY and export button!!!! That's one of the few things I was wishing this game had. Now I can keep my save game safe:D
