Sorry, I just don't get what all the hullabaloo is about. The bosses (and levels) are either too easy or a complete annoyance. There's nothing that really stands out and makes the whole thing worth it.
Wow, that's just stupid. The controls bite first off-- why do I have to press a button to decide "up or down". Shouldn't it at least be "left or right"? No way should there be context sensitivity in this game.
Secondly, how is it that one can go from pretty much purely boarding enemy ships to needing to fire thousands of cannonballs? And this is just me wondering... but don't cannonballs hurt? Shouldn't those 500 cannonballs I fire put a bigger dent in their troop numbers?
1. Tirangle cart level (find it yourself, I refuse to look): Shoot the cart, cart moves right. Good! Ragdoll slides down the left side, cart moves left. WHAT?!
2. This "flopping" is truly a flop. With so much inconsistency in the initial flight this is a completely luck-based game. I've fired three ragdolls with complete success, the fourth fired in a terrible manner; which slightly changed the angle of impact, which in turn meant Here fell in the hole resulting in failure.
Waaaaay too much walking. There needs to be much better descriptions for quests. Honestly, it takes longer to find where i need to be than to do what needs to be done. Tedious as hell.
Pretty easy with the right weapons. Unlock the Uzi and then use that all the time. It's reload is broken-fast so it's almost like you don't have to.
Then use the Flame Thrower, switching to the Uzi for enemies who are out of range. Final combo, Flame Thrower + Rocket Launcher. Rocket group, flame enemies, rocket group, etc, etc. It's just a shame you have to actually target an enemy to get the rocket to fire.
It's really pretty simple. The biggest problems come when you click too quickly and your ninja shoots off in a direction you didn't expect because the mouse wasn't placed just so. That would be solved by using the arrow keys except for (at least for me) every other level or so they went all wonky and the ninja would only move up and down no matter what key was hit.
I will never understand why people find this stuff fun. You think this is amusing? Go get a real job for crying out loud, make some money doing what amuses you. Stupid.
