Pretty decent but the (time based) coins are pointless given that one can just restart the level after completing it, implement the same solution, and get extra coins.
It doesn't make sense to me that the Kraken is so deep (below Cthulu), after all the Kraken surfaces reasonably regularly in it's mythology whereas the impression I've gotten is that if Cthulu surfaces we're all dead.
I've had a bit of difficulty where the game forgets my progress, I sometimes find myself interchanged between two games, one of which has completeled normal and is about halfway through hard while the other is about halfway through normal.
Very good and well worth the wait. A couple of improvements that might be made: the rate of healing outside of battle is too high; it makes slime bunnies and other "field" healing needless. Also I feel that the permanent stat boosting items are unsesscessary and just add effort.
So many things wrong with this game:
A) NO DECK EDITOR (you can't even see your cards outside battle)
D) The cards are poorly balanced
E) Battles are (almost) enitely based on the chance of who gets evolution to actually work
F) Sparse instructions which read as if written by an 8 year old
Overall it's pretty terrible
Not one of your better offerings, the random store system doesn't allow for great strategy in army building and the game often briefly freezes (which I suspect can be fixed but still).
Fundamentally good but there are quite a few problems of varying severity:
The bosses levels don't seem to mean anything.
The game basing enemy levels entirely on your skill level punishes people for playing the way they intuitively expect they should (as few days as possible).
The fact that attack and special are 1-battle buffs means they're much, MUCH less appealing for most battles than healing.
The rates of food appearing could use tweaking.
Brendan is such a troll, introduced as a healer then, at level 15, still doesn't have mass heal.
Seriously, being unable to see or control what abilities your allies get is a problem, please fix it either for tis or the sequel.
@Zeffen: For the second question: They all hate each other (as they clearly have different mothers) so they need to be separated. For the others: didn't you see the bad guy's flying thingy?
My opinions on power levels in the game, because why not:
Range and accuracy matter, you'll get an amazing number of kills by just shooting an AI at the edge of your screen to death.
Melee weapons are bad, there might be someone out there who can make good use of them but it's not me and certainly not the AI.
Contrary to what Kowasaci says, the medic (especially with a magnum) is capable of some damn good solo killing sprees.
The best killstreak for each class is Ricochet, Kevlar Vests, Bouncing Betty and... yeah the assassin's are all bad.
