for smashes you have to hit space just before you hit the ground. A good way to do this is watch the smash symbols at the left of the screen if it's flashing you can smash the critter.
It's pretty easy to grind to the last kicker, after you upgrade to the second kicker and reached the 1st chest in the second area. Just kick the critter and do something else you'll earn between 6 and 20 k and in 5-10 minutes you should have enough (for me it's better than upgrading a kicker and buying one that is weaker and repeating the process to the last kicker).
I found it unusual, looked fantastic and was for the most part fun. I like that there are different routes you can take, I how ever didn't like that there were buy this item/skill to do this level and you don't need to use it. My final comments are sometimes my jump doesn't work (not very often) and The extra lives are really good (since traps remain triggered and barrels don't re spawn so you can die once and have a second easier chance).
Like psycholoser this game is 7+ years old, it was good for it's time. But a quick guy after the first boss, in the ice level just run right and up. The level after than just go up, the final boss duck in front of him and just keep shooting (he'll keep shooting a laser that will miss).
To recycle 100 items in 3 minutes you can pay 60 gas or recycle 5 items (could be more depends on the item) at a time and instant finish it (you can instant finish anything under 5 minutes for free).
save before every time you leave a country. If the game crashes you lose all your in-game achievements (country mission progress is fine thx to the auto save).
Not really my type of game. I like puzzles but hate games that require precision platforming. It's sometimes hard to tell what you can actually jump on, as for the end of the level "boss" so for I find the AI too easy. I put out a 1,2,3 block and the AI nerfed it (-2 to enemy sides). The AI is too quick to use their power ups.
But to be a competitive player and play for free you have to grind. Ask yourself this if a new "competitive player" arrived today and you told him exactly what cards he needs to beat your deck, how long would it take for him to earn that deck?

With making no changes, and running against all numbered missions and side missions available and unavailable, the deck only failed to have a 90%+ winrate against 62 missions.
@daexion I just can't respect flash games that require cash to play for long periods of time. Just look at backyard monsters in a flash game your cash goes from extra gameplay to nothing in seconds. The achievements alone are a waiting game, I beat mission 66 and i'm popping in every now and than just to see did it register yet? Card games like Spectromancer, I go back to constantly There are lots of specialty's and seeing what works is fun. Here you can fill the deck with multiple copies of a single card, "look at this OP card i'm going to use 10 of them".
@michealparker007 I don't disagree at all. But with the energy system think about entering tournaments to get cards. The lowest to enter a tournament and not keep the packs you open is 5k, the max I saw was 1,500,000 (to keep the cards). Even if you spam mission 300 and win 100% of the time the gold/energy is 20 lower missions (~60) is 15. If your doing mission 300 it's (5k / 20) 250 minutes (333 minutes for lower missions) of energy (not including level ups), For the max amount it's (1500k / 20) 75k minutes or years. I don't want to mention the tournaments that require war bonds, the one I saw most often was 100 to keep the cards your open and that's $20 for 1 attempt (I don't know the rate for getting war bonds for free but I can say I've been away for 3 years and had 130 when I came back on). If they remove the energy system there could be more active tournaments
i'm on mission 63 with 49 achievements, XD. Badge hunters get to around mission 41 than start reading the achievements, rearrange your decks to the specific specifications and cross your fingers. For example mission 1 is good for a few achievments (only 1 assault unit, take 27 turns (9 walls and a weak 4 turn wait unit), and no assault units killed (fear and 3+ dmg is a instant win))
@muchacholol luckly if your a badge hunter you don't need to win pvp. If you enter a arena match and just surrender it still counts in the achievements. If you use the arena to much in one session you can watch it crash, you can enter a match where nothing happens (no cards appear at all) or you can surrender and it does nothing (the match ends but your stuck on the screen). Or the tournaments you earn points towards the achievements just for buying your way in (if you join a tournament and do nothing there is a 50% chance you will be 50% and up and get most of your gold back you'll be above the people that lose their games)
