@calyad I agree, it's too luck based. All I can say is upgrade the few units that you can use (I think it helps, but I don't really know) and cross your fingers. Also, make sure you upgrade aura range and bonuses, if you manage to keep your units on it long enough the levels beatable.I never upgraded health so levels like that one were 1-3 hit deaths.
mass archers beat most levels easily. For the high level (3-x and higher) bosses toss in a few dragons and turtles (for the final boss use lots of turtles and he can't move). Finally fist of fury is a great way to weaken a boss and kill his minions, just hold in that key and watch that beam kill everything.
an easy way to beat the game is to go to the dark side. Only upgrade gauntlet, mana, recharge and lives (if you prefer). Around level 30 you can easily -20 alignment per stage (so don't worry about it). Only lift one house at a time and don't kill the knights or supermen until last (if you have gauntlet on the knights can't affect you). There is a limit where only 5 "people" can be on the screen at once and if 4 are knights/supermen there is only 1 villager that can escape and hurt you.
I love the game but the lack of instructions make it a real pain. For example did you know if you lift the forge your lose all the upgrades. FYI for people, on the level override you can destroy close to everything with your second nullifier if you build it on the blue circle.
I like the game but i'm color impaired. For the treasure chest the blue and purple look very similar too me. if you can change the key symbols back to the fighting screen symbols the game would be much easier for people like me.
Rating this game is really hard. I like the concept but the level design is frustrating, a few levels I had to wait ~10 seconds with a pit right in front of me (didn't happen alot but more than i'de like). Finally the final boss is very annoying all it is is crossing your fingers the red beam doesn't come out at the wrong time. But the enhanced mode is fun 2/5
The game is pretty easy. take your time to get multiple kills each level, round 19-21 stay in the middle (enemies roll onto the screen and are 1 hit kills). O did I mention use a mouse, touch pad is gotta make it very hard.
an easy way to beat the game and get enough money for the arena quickly is grind at the green worm (you'll be max lvl 15 really quick it takes 1-3 wins to level depending on your level it gives 500 exp).
1/5 I love the decision games but this one just isn't it. The hard badge i'st hard but very long, a lot of the levels were big hide-and-seek games. It seems like the territories are attacked far too much, i'm going to have nightmares of a cursor moving slowly back and forth. My last two issues are on the map why does it look like two spots are still available they are outlined like the others you could play and why do my poison arrows heal (low health enemies become full health poison one's).
like hi2323 said you have to manually put it on easy and the mode on speedrun. My fyi if you put it on easy it's not overly difficult to get the hard badge (you may have to take some time to get a few upgrades but just keep repeating lvl 1 and memorize the stage). Take it from me the player who can get the easy, hard but not the medium badge
interesting game but it "freezes" the enemy units stop moving, they stand still and just keep turning. 2/5 (deserves 4/5 but the "freezing" happened 2/7 games)
