For anyone who is still remotely interested in Retro Vaders, I have recently released a remastered/rebuilt from the ground up version of the game over on Steam, named Retro Vaders: Reloaded. Hey everyone! Hope you're all surviving this lockdown business. I expect some of you are just as bored as I am so I thought i'd throw this up here. I just launched my new game Retro Vaders: Reloaded earlier on Steam. It's free to download (with a totally optional paid DLC) so it might help kill a bit of time whilst we all wait for the world to return to some semblance of normality.
Enjoy!

You plan to do these things, how about you actually do them before you release it... you know.. instead of just downloading some source code and immediately releasing it as your own work. I mean you even used the same name, you couldn't even make the effort to change the name. Whether the assets are free to use or not doesn't change the fact you've passed off someone else's work as your own without adding anything. That is stealing.
I see he hasn't updated on here. Apparently he lost the source code for AKS2 when he moved so there won't be any more updates =( He explains it all here. http://colinus.net/blog/?p=1147
I've "failed" level 12 about 4 times now by accidentally clicking a bookmark or link in my browser somewhere around the screen. I can understand you've optomised it for mobiles, but in doing so you've kinda made it too big for a normal pc.
Finally completed this, If I was the developer i'd have put an extra level after the ending where Jack says he's changed and escapes using the shadows/copies to help him.
How do so many people not understand the idea of survival? You keep playing until the snowball melts..

@ Lumster45 - The normal flies are coded to ensure that they don't appear at the top where the boss would block them. The powerup flies aren't however as this is part of the challenge as he is the final boss. The flies have just as much chance of appearing right next to you as they do to appear somewhere up there out of reach.
Hours before the deadline, I checked. It was midday in France, and the contest ended around 8pm.
