Um, anyone else hear the Hackworth theme when you beat the game? Maybe Waverly got the tune from something else, but that's the first place I've heard it... Not being just whining. They're a hilarious group on youtube and need more fans.
I don't think there's a way to make something sound bad with this, which is awesome for people like me who have no musical talents but love games like this.
Well, at first when I unlocked the nuke, I was a little disappointed. It dropped, but just vanished after a couple of seconds. So then I struck the next one with lightning. Just seemed like a good idea. Let me just say I'm not disappointed in the nuke anymore ^_^
The graphics make me kind of nostalgic, but the game itself gets boring after a few levels. It's a good challenge, though, there's just no goal other than making it to the next level.
I give 4/5. It's a good game, though simple and kind of short, but you did actually have to pay attention to things. Anyone saying this game flat out sucks probably just doesn't know how to play basic escape games. If something's clickable but nothing happens when you click it, you probably need a key or a certain tool or to do something somewhere else first to make that clickable thing active.
Right near the hole to the eight floor, the game froze...kind of. Apparently the visuals stopped, so it looked froze, but when I clicked around, my spot on the map kept moving and the enemy I was heading in to attack kept causing damage. This game is great, but it needs the bugs worked out.
5/5 for this game, almost as soon as I started playing it. One problem though, when I jump, once in a great while I'd glitch into a platform above me and be stuck. Most of the time I could just wiggle and jump and I'd glitch free again, but not always. There should be a button to just reset the level you're on, like when you die. Yay for suicide buttons!
Good graphics, the music actually doesn't bug me after hearing it loop too many times, and I like how you have to unlock the bonuses. But the game moves way too slow. Most of the time, I thought my mouse wasn't working because I'd click a few times and it still wouldn't select the rune, even when nothing else was dropping. I say either find a way to fix that and you'll have a great game, or take away the fact that it's timed and have a nice, though slow game.
So... is this what the world is like to granny's that overdose on their pills? Bubbles of weed floating in the air, waiting to be collected and taken to the authorities...
Anyway, I agree with Tzambissamo. The game's great, but needs more of a challenge. So far the biggest risk is not seeing a floating platform and wondering why you can't find all the weed. I still give it a 4/5 though because it made me laugh occasionally.
well, I WOULD have given it 3/5, maybe even 4/5 for how disappointed the sun was when I failed, but on level 29 you have to be so freaking pixel-perfect, I was forced to give up.
I'm giving up on level 23. I know, so close to the end, but I hate things where every step has to be perfectly timed or you have to start all over, especially when I thought this was more of a puzzle game.
Also, please add a zoom out feature so you can actually see what your goal is before dying over and over just trying to see the map. One one level I didn't even realize there was a lever I was supposed to get to until I found a walkthrough for it.
