To those looking for some hints: Use the sword. Get Quick Learner in the blue tree, and Soul Thirst in the red tree. Then fill the green tree, and regeneration/shukuchi in the blue/red trees. Rings: HP/regen/defense/movement. Bracelet: sword damage/regen
The controls are counter-intuitive and clunky. Adding the option to re-map the keys to user choices might salvage this game. Separating the dash from the jump would also help a lot. With both of those not bring the case, playing this game is painful.
Not allowing play with other potential song tabs open?.... No program/app/whatever should ever interfere with the user's other activities by design. Sad for a dev that was doing well otherwise.
The game will not function when there is an audio conflict, it is due to a bug in the Adobe Flash Player that has not been fixed yet. When they fix it I will update the game and then you can open one hundred tabs while you play and I will no longer be a sad dev. That will be a glorious day indeed!
Superb game! Well balanced objectives, Perfect difficulty curve, super attention to every game detail, beautiful graphics, and very fun to play. This is one of the best games on Kongregate!
There might be a small bug with the controls sticking when you're at top speed holding accelerate and getting items... there were times that I couldn't turn after a straightway and not hitting anyone.
There a bug with weapon creation... I made a couple of weapons, deleted one or two, and now I can't seem to make anymore. Or more specifically, when I leave the weapon creation screen the weapon isn't in the weapon selection box.
Didn't have too much problem once I realized I couldn't be precise on the wall jumping and just had to wait to fall (which is all that's required for all but two or wall sequences). Even though there is only a couple of multi-switch doors, any game that makes me do a binary search as part of the game is testing my patience. However, the difficulty makes a good progression and the game is solid; if it weren't for the control scheme/lag buildup would have received a 5/5
Well done... very few games where I replay and this one made me immediately reset to try again. Not a difficult game by any means, but very entertaining.
For the hard badge, do not use accelerators and use the mouse (greater control). Doing that got me to the end untouched the first time I tried for the badge (even with the biggest hull) - just keep your engine cutoff handy cause those UFO's like to form a line.
A very very well made simple puzzler. However, not having a button (like 'r') be 'restart level' is a poor design decision for a puzzler and having to use the mouse got increasingly aggravating .
Got all three endings right away, but the symbolism dies through some of the paths I took, which made the game weaker then if I took the paths others apparently took. Oh well, to each their own.
DO NOT LEARN MORE THEN ONE THING.
You can just learn one disease, click repeatedly through the chart -> diagnose -> repeat and eventually get the badge (whatever group to level 4 stats) then spend the creds to learn the 4 other diseases. Saves you the pain of clicking repeatedly through all the screens - I don't know if the goal was enjoyment or educational but neither was reached in this presentation.
Not letting you pick a minion from the mission select screen was about the only thing this game did wrong (and that got annoying quick :/). Enjoyable and well balanced even though I saw a super easy win strategy from the beginning and won right away. When a game leaves you hoping for another you know it's good :)
Also the doing x number of jumps (20/30/50) achievements are never a good idea in a game. I finished the game (got max height and all the possible upgrades) in 16 jumps and if I was inclined to get all the achievements in this game I'd have to play for another 34 rounds where I did absolutely nothing.
