What Vizuna said is true, but apparently everyone seems to forget that (especially during the last fight) is that you can simply press "down" and sit in your shell to deflect damage. This is especially useful for the "ZZZ" and "Collision" phases. Due to after a proper block in your shell, you are given invulnerability frames for a couple of seconds as if you were struck.
The Hot Wire portion is absolutely retarded. The hitbox on the Sphere is bigger than the image so when you get to the end - unless you have a miracle machine with ZERO lag, you die
Lot of improvements in gameplay over the first in options, but the combat system seems needed for more polish. Crafting system could still use a bit more of an overhaul, mainly in that "found" recipes should be an insta-craft if the materials are found (I'm looking at you, potions), also multiple similar crafts could be made into variables. Making 30+ Pots due to being over burdened is more of a task than anything.
Minor issue:
Why are Repair Costs equal to the raw value of the building, even if it takes 1 damage? It's honestly better to just replace Resistors when they fail rather than use repair at ALL.
@ 3nd0fw0r1d : the first survive level is actually rather easy. You just send out 1 unit (Melee Brawler) with the highest HP and Defense stats that you have. Iron Skin and Heal are your friends. Once the "From the East" Unit comes out with that funky looking sword, Ressurect on him, because it will poison the Boxer and make him easy pickings. Just Keep Iron Skin up and Heal as he punches. That's all there is to it.
Pretty simple game. Just getting 50% HP on Wizard and Warrior, 2x Actions for Priest/Wizard, Teleport and Sleep for Wizard. Make the Wizard into a scout that bombs everything then Group Heal on Priest so you can Spam Heals. Maybe Smite. Ranger is near useless due to only having 2v4 fights all game. :\
a lot of the levels are pretty easy - especially if you farm the combo-heavy levels 21 being the first, then 23, 26, 27, 29, 32, 33 and ending with 35. If you don't get 3 stars on the first go. Don't even flinch about it. Just keep playing and then backtrack on those farm levels. I found Levels 16 and to be kind of touch and go. The rest were rather simple to clear once you have full upgrades.
Happy playing
This game is a total joke and yet another prime example of why developers should work with people rather than pigeon-hole players into "Build only my way or fail" dynamics.
Longbow Archers fire far too fast. Ice Mages are just useless by taking 50 more mana and 1 extra "channels" to do less damage and no real change to attack speed. Give some expanded upgrades to towers themselves so more than 1 playstyle is viable.
Dunno what people are talking about with the difficulty at starting levels. Workshop on Day 1, M16 on Day2 with 1 Upgrade Point into everything. Everything was rather smooth sailing from that point on.
The game however still isn't very enjoyable.
Couldn't find this game enjoyable due to the poor setup of hitboxing and where you can be dead-on with a target yet it sometimes just won't take damage. Ends up being a TOTAL waste of energy and leads to late game deaths (especially round 20).
