Not bad. I would really suggest that instead of moving left to right, you have a key that corresponds to each left, center, and right. It would make the game a lot more enjoyable.
Why the hell are the pockets black holes? Plus, while you say "shooting on the fly can save you" it's far to hard to try and aim the ball anywhere useful on the fly.
It's hard to tell direction since each screen is entirely different. That's why these kind of games show a little on the peripheral...it's just a nice thing to have. The inventory system seems kinda wonky and the messages stayed on the screen until a new one popped up...so I was never sure if the game was telling me if something was interactive or it just didn't have a message.
Yeah, it's a lot like MtG...
Anyway, minor glitch--I just saw the computer play a "make this card unblockable" card on a creature that can't attack. You may want to check stuff like that.
The difficulty went down a lot. It's a lot shorter especially since you locked content out of the kongregate version. The story was kind of cliched, but the end was alright.
