Very nicely done game with good graphics, music, and even an effort at voiceovers which is a rarity in these games. Could use a fraction more variety in enemy sprites. But what is there is done well. Maybee if there is ever a sequel, consider some breakable scenery. Such as the bottles in the saloon. Or even a chandelier or such to shoot and drop on a few foes.
Very nicely done game. Good graphics and look to it and an interesting backstory/mystery to uncover. (What I could see of it so far.) Nice selection of weapons. Though more upgrade options would have been nice. Could definitly use a volume and resolution control option. Walking speed could do with maybee a 10% increase from what it is currently. You plod along a bit too slow even for a guy in power armour, and it only gets worse as you take damage.
Currently though suffering a bug that prevents stage 2 from loading. It just hangs there forever.
Good game with a fun concept. The clicking for fantasy resources is a bit of a pain but otherwise ok. One notable problem is that the game seems to not accept clicks on things when needed, possibly enlarge the equivalent hit box a little bit or check to see if anything is hindering selection.
A fun twist on the usual match game.
Some tips.
1: max out Defense or get it to at least level 3 as soon as possible. Maxed out you take no damage when it is running.
2: do the same with Counter. Reflecting all, or even more damage back than was done to you can knock a opponent down far better than your own attacks sometimes.
3: Whenever possible work to deny your opponent the chance to score a Heal set. Try to watch for openings where you can activate a counter and the opponent will very likely use an attack on you. Or better yet a counter/defense combo.
But as allways, its very much luck of the draw. But you need to know where to apply those BioGems!
A good sequel with lots of new stuff to play around with. Oddly the graphics transitions wer not quite on par with the first which more or less upgraded through the various stages of arcade graphics style. Also the SFX was a little less than expected for the upgrade. Unfortunately the game gets docked down to a 1 for the BPM stunt. Really stupid and uncalled for. Were it not for that the game would get a 4 or 5.
Very well made and surprising to have a story. Which few "tower defense" games have. Also it incorperates elements of puzzle games as some of the maps require specific layouts to get optimal success. Others you can just power through. The bonus stages were a nice touch as well.
