The combat mechanics, vending machines, first-aid kits and general mood of the game remind me a lot of BioShock. Great game. Just one major problem: It's REALLY laggy. I know it's not just me, I have a good graphics card and 4 gigs of RAM. So.. you might wanan optimize the engine or something.
Okay.. the Heavy Cannon NEEDS some sort of reticule or trajectory path or SOMETHING. I know there's a power gauge, but it's honestly not very helpful. Seriously, I find that I miss about 80-90% of the time with the Heavy Cannon... and with some other guns, too.
I like the music and graphics, but... the classes don't really seem to matter all that much (whoever has more soldiers and higher states wins, basically).. and it's a bit repetitive. If I could somehow influence a battle during combat, that would make it a lot more fun. It's a good game so far, though. Lots of promise.
Anyone else having difficulty with unlocking that achievement... "Bigger Fish to Fry"? I think you have ot kill the fish-boss... but when I do, I don't get the achievement... Do I have to play on a certain difficulty or something?
Commander: "You must go to a planet where humans are enslaved by intelligent talking spiders!"
Soldier: "Funny, there aren't any people... and these things only have four legs... and they just hiss at me."
You know... sometimes the Quicksilver's homing function is a bit annoying. Namely when trying to get headshots. The bullets home in on the center of humanoid enemies. Now I realize that there would be balancing issues if the bullets homed in on enemy heads, but you could at least ask us whether or not we want the bullets to home in. And no, I will not simply 'use another gun,' because the Quicksilver (before you get the homing upgrade) is a great sniping weapon.
I know that's the game is already a lot like Smash Brothers, but could you perhaps add a damage meter that affects how far you're knocked back by weapons? Because it's frankly always either too easy to kill enemies because of the fixed knockback, or too hard because of it. Also, some sort of way to pick up extra ammo without getting a new gun would be nice.
I'd like to see pedestrians. You know, like.. falling out of buildings... Or running in between them.. and then... BOOM. Body parts everywhere. Or at least cute little anime people with flaming heads.
I'd like an "Elephant Quest Classic" version or mode where it has the art style ever-present in the rest of the Elephant games, as well as having the Elephant Rave music. Who's with me? Seriously, this loks more like Sushi Cat than Elephant.
