Very nice game, but the tutorial freezes the game and makes it unplayable. Also, when you hit play, the no button is closer to your cursor, so it's kind of the default, which is bad because it discards your save. Could be 5/5 with tutorial fixed and harder to discard your progress, but 3/5 as is.
It's a fun game. Halfway to a strategy game. Would be nice to choose where to place the units and be able to consolidate units from multiple squares (that is, move units from one spot you own to another). Every other strategy game ever realizes that placing your units is fairly important, why doesn't this one?
@ig88 Yeah wouldn't it be great if there was a sound toggle somewhere like the front page menu screen? And if you could just save your game and return there anytime to toggle the sound? Man, I wish that was in the game. That would be awesome.
Passwords for levels? Add an autosave and it will be a really good game. I like the style of game and controls, but passwords for levels haven't been cool since megaman 2.
Almost a great game. Love the art, love the idea, don't like the controls. Picking the side is awkward, selecting pieces takes too many clicks and you have to find the exact right spot to grab the block. It doesn't take advantage of the 3D aspect of the game. You're onto something cool here, but it's not quite there yet.
Games need to be rated 4+ to get badges. I really like this game, but the posters complaining about the responsiveness of the controls have a real point. The controls are annoying, the flashing thing and the locking columns is annoying, and you can't review quotes you've solved. With some fixes this could be a great game, but the developer hasn't changed it since the first release.
Needs a restart or back to menu button. Needs a "start" button so you can read units before the game starts. Units aren't well-balanced in terms of cost for damage per second. Units need a range circle so you can see where to place units so they will also fire on levels below them. Selling units should use a different key, since some laptops and macs don't have the delete key you are looking for.
Autofire should fire where your mouse points, not lock you straight ahead. Why do game designers want us to play with the mouse constantly clicked? Makes it hard to play on laptops.
