Most of the game is locked away from non-paying members. At first it appears only the Spectra circuit and various vendors are inaccessible, but all level 2 and 3 weapons are brass only making them impossible to get for non-paying members. Everything else costs an absurd amount of spores making everything ridiculously expensive unless you have brass. The amount of power gained from the members only gear is factored into the difficulty of the levels making them tedious to chop through rather than fun.
Great at first, becomes tedious/boring without paying.
The targeting preferences only matter if the turret isn't firing. If you have a turret with long range, there's little point trying to adjust its targeting.
Combos are basically broken, I've linked up countless turrets at full upgrade to no effect. They fire their regular shots and the menu says they're in a combo with the other turret, but the combo never fires. I waited 8 waves without a single combo, then lost since I wasted so much money going for the combo.
The lack of tower AI or tower targeting control is beyond infuriating. The combo system is a nice idea, but it glitches about as much as it works making this a rather mediocre tower defense game.
very nice. constant fire is a pleasant addition. the damage on the laser wingman seemed really low... by the time i could afford them, they were ineffective..
the physics on this game are bizarre but consistent so it's fun to mess around with.
The achievements are enjoyable rather than frustrating which is good IMO.
Eric is very impressed.
most of the fights in the game feel luck based rather than skill. It's really annoying. Also the non-existent control to pick what fighting move you want makes having more than 1 pointless.
overall, it has potential, but sucks a lot at the moment.
it's easiest to pass levels if you don't buy either of the enemies with homing missiles... they make it easier to stay in the air, but you run out of fuel before you can get a high enough combo to level up.
