This is a prime example of a simple game mechanic taken to its ultimate level. When the mechanic is simple, every detail counts, and this game aced every one of them. The music is incredible, the pace is relentless yet induces a focus that almost seems to slow time, the controls are sensitive enough to do precision movements with a surprisingly low inclination to overshoot. There isnt any unnecessary cut screens or waits at game over, you just hit space and go again making for little wasted time to lose focus. If I had to give one negative comment, it would be the occasional split second freezeup that happens every 5th game or so, but thats probably not even a game level issue, so yeah, I give nothing but absolute respect and love for this one, and wish it had gotten badges sooner so I could have noticed it sooner.
Another awesome game. Only thing I dont love about it is the same thing I did with decision one, zombies with projectile weapons kind of ruin it for me. Still 5/5 though.
Ugh.. It was bad enough sloughing through this once, no way am I doing it three times, trophies be damned. Interesting concept, but was completely burned out on it by chapter 5. Repetitive and boring.
was totally addicted for a while, then I got to the next to last stage and all of a sudden the zombies have guns and it quit being a zombie game and became just another kill humans game only the ai was slow and stupid.
I have save files in various states of completion in all of turbonukes games, however, I have not been able to bring myself to finish any of them. by the time I am halfway through, any novelty of new content has worn off and I am at doing races over and over again praying to buddhas blessed little brother that I dont end up on my head/roof again. Excellent concept, excellent design, annoyingly frustrating implementation.
anyone else having a problem about stars glitching? especially in the volcano level, the second star from the start keeps freezing mid-spin and wont let me collect it.
how the flipping hell did this game get badges? the controls are sluggish and unresponsive, gameplay is frustratingly boring, the color scheme actually hurts after a while, and worst of all, the symbolism of "this is your ball" being a circle around it instead of, oh, i dont know, maybe making it a different color adds an entirely new level of annoyance to it.
Overall: 1/5. and the 1, is for music. the music was good.
