Ok, so you've disabled the energy system. Yay. The game is pretty, I'll give you that. But the gameplay is the same, although maybe there are lots more elements to find. And I just don't care. Trying to figure out a reasonable set of steps to make a turtle doesn't come close to working, so I'm back to methodically linking one element to everything else. I could look up a wiki, or spend clues, to get me past one point, but I quickly come up to the same kind of problem. Maybe the "puzzles" add depth, but making ice cream with rocks and water isn't any different from a simplified version of the main game. 3/5
It took me a while to realize you can change the order in which the characters act by clicking on the pictures in the upper left. Also, you can change characters after someone gains an additional attack.
Day 137, 79% complete. Still haven't found the master of wisdom. Took me way too long to figure out I needed to build mines in the last two areas to find the taverns. Any ideas?
Ok, I've clarified everything I possibly can about Deer Repellant, and I'm still not getting past his talk. The Utility of me trying to get through this game is clearly less than me playing an actual fun game.
16-18 were doable after getting some more skill points. The real problem is a huge jump in difficulty from 15.
And I often like to leave creature making buildings intact, for experience for my towers as well as gold and loot.
This is a great game, but it seems like I can get more spells than in a slot than usual, partially because I don't have to earn the higher level ones. Right now I've got a game with only spells in Earth [no creatures], and in Fire no creatures but the wall of fire. Even if a deck making bit is too hard to develop, or whatever, how about being able to ban a few cards from your deck? Or set a no more than 50% spells preference? Or, something.
You can use the custom deck option. For single duels and league matches you can use custom deck button on main menu.
For Arena and campaign you will be able to create or delete on exclusive custom deck for every profile you make.
I think a large part of the problem is that unlike a lot of games made for Facebook, this one doesn't make the first couple of levels easy, fun, and interesting. Essentially everything can kill you, and you have no way to influence that significantly, unless you fight, use your vampire power, go do something else for 30 minutes, repeat.
Lots of people complaining about the business model. I don't care as much about that, as the fact that the game more or less cheats- when I have to find an object with a particular shape, and more than half of it is hidden behind another object.
I've played, and beaten versions 1 and 2. But the horrible, awful, no good combat makes this game much worse. Not to mention, I'm a unique being in the story, and I'm spending 90% of my time in crap jobs and resting. This is nonsense. 3/5
Ok, conquered the world twice. 3 issues. Central America is easier than South America, and the first time through I didn't see I could conquer it, it looked like it was connected to the South. Income fluctuation isn't a problem, but the huge increase in salaries is- if you haven't conquered everything you possibly can before advancing your company, you're in trouble and probably can't get out of trouble. Finally, it doesn't really play like a zombie game- I'd expect hoards of zombies, needing to use all the types I possibly can at the end. You could use the same framework for a game about robots taking over, and have it work exactly the same.
I read the comments about long waves, and still for my first fight I wondered if I was in endless. It wouldn't be as much of a problem if the waves were actually different, but at least on the first map there's no significant difference between different enemies that's obvious, some have more hp, some are faster, some come in a big line.
Great atmosphere, and the more unusual monsters looked really unusual. Badges worked for me. The last boss is rather hard, even on easy- I'll try readjusting everyone's skills, but I'm not really sure what would be best for killing it. 5/5.
To play as a demon or ascended you have to beat Chapter 1.
And with regard to resources, if they shouldn't be purchasable, why not make them scavengable from the pile of useless items I have?
Interesting, but why the heck are lightpoles so expensive? The fog of war is interesting, but I want to explore the entire map, but there's no ingame reason to do so, at least as far as I know. Extra resources? A castle with a king who gives you an extra skill point after being rescued?
As far as the creeps, flying's been overdone. Armor, with some armor piercing towers, maybe?
