It's a really cool idea and generally well formed, but I can tell the programming is terrible. Not only does it lag after a couple plays, but the lag causes the game to miss keystrokes. I'm so tired of missing my jump because of lag, and then fighting enemies and getting stuck with my ranged kitties on a different platform from the combat, eternally firing into thin air because the game never checks their elevation in combat.
It seems that the achievements for visiting your sites are impossible, at least on Firefox (even when I play the game through that site). Also, currently I don't see the final building giving me any TPS boost, don't know if this is intended.
Overall fun game, but my main complaint is that it forces you from boss to boss to get just about everything. Halfway through the game starts to feel very one-dimensional. Maybe it could use some kind of equipment-style upgrade, or a branching storyline that offers different hero abilities.
I didn't even realize until after all the badges that you go so much farther by launching at an angle close to ground. I've been doing 45 degree angles, but with something like 20 degrees you keep much more of your power when you hit objects and the ground.
To keep your spells or equips on the hotbar, add them while you're in town.
I find it very helpful to go straight for the spells at the beginning: heal, fire, transmute, telekinesis, reveal. An alternative may be potion effects because you can stack some good bonuses for the hard enemies.
The physics are good for a flash game, the bow firing especially adds a lot of depth to it. But it feels unfinished. There's a lot of strangeness navigating the world, for example I get stuck on or even near elevators, and I can't always jump. Still a very fun game, pulled me in through the end.
For some reason Ninja Kiwi decided "today" starts at 0:00 UTC, despite them being located in New Zealand, so if I sit down to load the game at 7:00 it may tell me I've already played one day and then the next day tell me it's my first day in a row.
Great game, I love that the controls are easy to work with. To anyone stuck at the Gorge, try going back after doing everything else. If that doesn't work, the exit may be there just not visible. I went back and beat all levels with A rating and I'm still only level 11, without 1000 kills, so that's a little unbalanced, and the millionaire achievement must be some kind of joke.
If you beat all levels on green leaf with special challenges, you can get all skills maxed out by the time you start on your gold leaves. I'd love to see extra challenges/levels after you get all the gold leaves, the game seemed like it was getting a lot more interesting at the end.
I love how they have your playtime in big font on the main screen so you can count how much time you wasted. For me, 40 minutes >_<
PS. It seems the uzi, not the machine gun is the most profitable weapon.
