I found it very rare to have a ball destroyed. It only happens if you over-inflate or hallow it at the wrong time. Otherwise, just repaint and start again. It's an easy game if you pay attention. I beat it on the first try (though on my final ball).
I couldn't believe my eyes when I got to the fourth area and my units, disobeying my orders the second I issued them, started going round and round in circles recapturing every house. Then I found Auto-Move. With that off it's hard to control everyone, but they do what you tell them to.
If you're going for the medium badge, kongregate may stop its counting to 200 when you open the screen in another window. So leave that sidequest until after you get the badge.
A heads up to anyone, if you make any changes just before leaving they may not be recorded. I thought I could get away with a practice ascension, messed with my mutations, then quickly loaded back my old save text and closed the window, only to find out the next morning I'm stuck in the practice world. I'm glad the game has ways to fix mistakes, but be careful when using the autosave.
How to win: 1. Wait for the laws of entropy to bring all boxes into an area the size of the click radius. This will probably take millions of years. 2. Click all boxes. 3. Congratulations you win.
Things it took me an unusually long time to figure out: How to coordinate my aim to a semi-following screen, where the gold is, how to use a dagger, how to heal, how to see my achievements, how to swap one weapon for another, that my heath carries level to level, that I should have bought that 1000 gold armor before it turned into 5000 gold armor, and where my character is every single time he's teleported because boy should he be wearing red and white stripes instead of plain green. I mean it really is designed with good gameplay and its fun once you spend the time to get used to it, but it just doesn't have a single intuitive control.
A fun, lighthearted game. It has a few graphics issues (lagging with many minions, minion lasers sometimes get stuck and remain drawn from room to room). Good gameplay though.
Sometimes a sir loves a madam who marries another sir and then the sir falls in love with another madam who is married to a different sir who is then hit by a car driven by madam's former sir who had children out of wedlock with a different madam.
A cute little game, my main complaint is that I have little if any sense of how I'm supposed to move from room to room. I usually end up trying all possible combinations of clicks and then something happens and the robot moves on.
