Sees first weapon upgrade at 200. Sees second upgrade at 500. Saves 500 to be more efficient. Not allowed to buy the 500 until the 200 is bought. -1 Star just for that.
The rubber band AI hurts this game for me so much. I repeatedly shave my best time on the last track by several seconds, and I keep finishing 2nd. Uncool.
It'll get there. Decent game engine. Not enough upgrades for a fun upgrade system, but what's there works. You've got a game balance issue. I feel like I'll be grinding on Track 5 for a bit if I want to keep playing this.
@ Kalorymtr: Sunny Heights is actually fairly easy to pass, simply because it's very easy to get the 640 height required. The two tallest hills just below the finish? Flipping through them by bouncing off the "ground" above the hill is the fastest way to navigate it. And if you do that with the second hill, it completes the height requirement. So really, just race, and remember to flip on the right hill.
@TheFacelessOne: The best way to handle losing characters on level 15 is to make sure a portal is accessible from the Dragon. There's often a good chance that adventure's will wander in and out of the dragon battle. Giving them a chance to pass over the portal will save you a lot of grief.
Also, if you get luck and stumble on an auto-portal item for a character, stick in on someone, and never take it off.
@DungeonMonkey: If you get to the armor quickly enough, it's possible to fight them to a standstill with fewer bees, or at least, keep a supply of bees that basically reproduce and die to get the AI's attention. This is done on the right side of the hole in the middle. Meanwhile, I sent a couple of bees around to the left side to attack hexes from their flank. Once you've taken out a couple of hexes this way, the AI quickly gets in trouble since a) you can reproduce more and b) the ones you kill while exchanging fire can't be reborn anymore.
Very frustrated now that I see last achievement required never upgrading your fruit. Might come back and play again later, but right now quite annoyed that I can't get that without completely starting over.
The slingshots on this game are just too live, to the point of making this game luck based. I shouldn't be able to literally go 60 seconds in between shots in this environment. Also, due to the slingshot placement and the size of the ball, any semblance of a catch shot is impossible.
thanks for the feedback, will release a level pack soon I think (with some more upgrading options and better balance).
