Finally got that damn hard badge. My secret was to go gung-ho in securing territories to start with, and gradually increase farms/population. Won by writing the Constitution (or rewriting it). Zombies didn't stand a chance at stopping me.
Gets Amulet of Charisma (20% less shop prices) at near the end of the game. Makes tons of sense... My only solace is my ability to flawlessly travel back in time and off that ridiculous merchant.
Easy mode for last level (Zofia): Take out the melee units near to you as best as you can. Now you are going to retreat towards that alley in the north-east corner. Before you do that, you need to block off the southern entrance with barrels. Once you do that, hide all of your characters in the alley, up against the wall. Zofia and her archers will come after you, and you can take them out 1-by-1. This works extremely well because you get time to heal and recover SP. Also, note to Dev: with this strategy, Zofia hits herself with molotov due to faulty AI.
Timed challenges are so frustrating. Had to refresh because the game glitched and wouldn't spawn the new beasts because both my opponent's and my beasts KO'ed at the same time, caused me to lose the 10-minute challenge. Which, I ended up spending 6 star gems to avoid doing the challenge again.
Does this ever happen to anyone else? I'm doing an Arena Challenge, but I get distracted for some reason or another, and then BAM! Pay 6 star gems or repeat the whole thing. Makes me want to facepalm myself.
The gray bars are definitely a hp bar of sorts. I think the green/red bar is just to signify if a unit is friendly or enemy. Without the green/red bar, it's hard to tell.
Wow.. So apparently there are multiple endings in this game. Getting 1 million gold gives you another ending (as does finishing a questlines). I'm assuming there's also an ending for conquering 100 cities (but who wants to do that?).
