Can't cancel troop movement. Can't set permanent troop movement. Magic control sucks - should only allow release over valid target area. Two enemies, both same colour, WTF? Enemies don't attack each other, why?
Feels like I'm crawling on the floor, and a 'neutral' mouse position has me starting at the ceiling. Not comfortable.
But, good puzzles, and otherwise good game.
Great fun!
Suggestions:
- More reward for sketching. Now, you can earn credits a hundred times faster guessing than sketching.
- Make random letters cost more for short words. You can spend 25 credits to get all letters in a three letter word, and still earn 25 credits.
- Story mode isn't enticing... Add some basic stubs to establish a beginning.
Haven't tried versus yet.
Liked much, but play is a little tedious (enemies please walk faster!), it would be good to see more of the field on screen, and the boss should be tougher.
Love the concept. When replaying a level after beating it, it cleared the previous path - don't do that! And with 33 levels, it needs a little more to maintain interest. Even just going to the level menu after each level instead of just clicking "next" would help give a sense of progression. Even better would be bronze/silver/gold stars for reaching score targets.
No way to restart the games except refresh. Click on achievements - nothing. No way to return to the menu. Nice idea, nice animations, needs attention to details.
Love it.
Best combination of music, gameplay, originality, and art I've seen in a game this length in a long time. Great difficulty balance (I didn't play the earlier versions, but the controllability and damage feel pretty good as of v1.09). I think Little Wheel is the only other short game I've given a 5/5.
Yes, it's the tactical fight interface that makes this game. Although I do agree that the enemies could be much smarter about how they use their skills... but then, that would then require a lot of rebalancing. Right now, the balance is pretty good, so it might be best not to muck with it.
