I think this was one of the easier impossible badges: the only hard part is learning the audio cues and reacting accordingly. Farmers have a nervous tone to their voice, saying things like "Stop! Stop!", while the 'spartans' will shout battle phrases from 300. The duelists are the toughest to me because they have the same 'voice' as farmers and they run towards you, giving less time to react than with other soldiers. If you have stereo speakers, you'll also hear which side the arrows are being fired at you, which really helps too. Other than that, it wasn't too bad.
To get the highest scores possible, you must buy a gold ticket asap. It costs $500, but it will give you a huge amount of gold from killing even the weakest of enemies. Once you've done that, just keep rebuying the tickets as needed to snowball your cash and max your stuff. Of course, luck still plays a factor in your score as well.
I used to be able to stretch the game to fit the screen, by right click --> show all. Now that option is gone, could you please add it back into the flash? Otherwise the game is on only 1/3 of the screen.
Just to clarify for those having trouble: For your search party, the percentages from right to left are (1) Chance to be UNNOTICED (2) Chance to SURVIVE (3) Chance to loot. From these, you want ALL THREE percentages to be as HIGH as possible. Remember that small groups and melee users have higher undetection chance, so use them to search.
For all the noobs, remember that you can cancel a V1 blitz if you have an experienced signaller, just press 4,4 (for air superiority). If you're quick, ALL of the V1s will get shot down by your planes. I can't count how many times I've been saved by sigs+air superiority.
IMPORTANT TIP: For the final boss DO NOT use skills like "heal all" and "revive all". Why? Using party skills will put the caster at the bottom of the action bar, which will severely limit their damage output. The only party skill that I recommend is quicken all, which is a must in order to maximize your attack power. When the boss casts judgement, quickly spam tonics, (again, DO NOT use "heal all," or else your healer will get pushed to the bottom of the bar, tonics are craftable in town) and then use quicken all. Your main damage should come from grenades and the barrage skill, while your heals should come from the craftable tonics, which heal the entire party AND recharge very fast for effective spamming.
I don't understand why we learn debuff skills like blind, armor down, etc. when bosses are totally immune to them and the normal enemies are easily killed without having to use the debuffs. It makes me a bit apprehensive when choosing to learn the "trickster" class.
If a mutant grapples your gunner while reloading (this happened usually while Diane reloads the shotgun), if you successfully knock down the mutant, you will be unable to fire your gun or reload unless you switch to another weapon. This has cost me many runs, as the few seconds that I spend fumbling to switch my guns could have allowed my shotgun to blast the other mutants on my hood. Then again, if it isn't a bug, then it could be the lag, but I'm running at ~20 fps.
There should be some way to make Cocheta stronger in the beginning. Diane's shotgun is the only useful weapon early on, since it only takes 1-2 shots to kill anything (except mutants) while Cocheta only shines after he gets his LMG because his inital SMG is too weak and uses up ammo very quickly.
Ride-able attack wolves, space ships with metal punching fists, and snow tunneling robotic snakes? This demo has more action than many full games on this site!
If you're having trouble with amazons, remember to use ballistas to outrange them! First of all, amazons ALWAYS spawn in groups, so there's no point in uncharming your towers if another amazon will just charm it again. Secondly, the ballista's splash damage will take out all the amazons with one hit, and its range will keep it out of the charm range. As a last resort, you can use the chicken scroll to disable their ability or throw a meteor to take them all out at once.
So in the future, your Mars job application must include your metabolism rate, running speed, and your sleeping schedule. I'm glad that the job market hasn't reached that point yet.
Cocheta's smg is pretty great maxed out.
