For those who don't know, your surviving soldiers are converted to bonus points, this is important! Use the bonus points in the market to get resources, upgraded markets give more per point, currently, I get 1k gold per 1k bonus points, which is a 1:1 ratio. Don't overlook the market feature, it is key to winning!
A few tips: To kill the dragon you need to buy a divine edge. The dragon appears AFTER day 10, so around day 8 or so, heal yourself (this is important! Use your elixir if you have it , or upgrade your armor). Grab a divine edge, and you should be able to survive until you meet the dragon, then you can use the item to kill it in one hit. Also, if you get a gold ticket, it is definitely worth it. It multiplies your gold reward by 10, and you can easily get rich this way. Just remember, make sure to heal before getting the divine edge on day 8 or 9.
For those who don't know, the flame tile allows you to chain two different attacks. By clicking it you can click an adjacent attack tile, then click a different one, allowing you to deal with enemies that have multiple armor types. You can also use it to attack and heal at the same time, which can save your life in some battles.
When Cooper wears a hat like, say, the ranger hat, his hair goes through the hat, which is obviously not supposed to happen. Its only a visual bug, so its not that big of a deal.
I HATE when a lag spike turns your ship into a sitting duck, causing you to scream at the computer as your ship helplessly gets destroyed, its just so annoying.
How come the RPG-7 is no longer rentable? I dont think thats very fair that you make almost everything premium. At least allow us to rent it for a higher price instead to removing the rent feature. Soon we wont be able to spend honor points if this keeps happening D:
The tesla tank can only shoot when enemies are in range. Basically, the tesla tank has an 'invisible circle' as its range, and it cannot shoot anyone unless they are in this 'circle'. To be honest, the tesla tank's range and price make it a unit that I tend to shy away from. But again, it can shoot through walls and it has high firepower.
@destruckto: There is an exploitable factor in the game that allows you to instantly recharge the airstrike (and every other ability). Simply sell your airstrike building and buy a new one. Yes, this costs money, but sometimes it is very useful. It has saved me in many levels, and allowed me to get all perfects.
For people having trouble, the absolute key to winning is the recycle centers. You MUST build recycle centers after level 12, or else you will run out of money. Once you have at least 3 centers, save up $2k to upgrade them to level 3. At level 3, the centers will generate money very quickly, and thats when the tide turns in your favor. Also, be careful when you use overdrive, as the base WILL take damage if it shoots.
I really like this game, but as many have pointed out, there are a few annoying factors. To me I didn't like how I kept missing point-blank shots and sometimes the zombies falling through the roof just made the game tedious at times, especially if they pin you to the wall. Also, I didn't like having to 'replace' my companion with another one, whats wrong with having 2 companions? Also, as Darkaros mentioned, the storage at the safehouses is just too small. Its weird that a backpack can hold 80+ pounds while a footlocker can only hold 30.
I can't believe how many people don't know that you can just click the screen to skip the scroll into town... its such a simple thing that it goes unnoticed or something.
The game is sort of like Raiden how u die in one hit but Raiden did have one thing that this game didn't have: BOMBS! In raiden, if there are a bunch of bullets coming at u, u drop abomb and it wipes out all the bullets and enemies that are close to you!
