Your Champion has leveled up! +5 health!
Your Cavalier has leveled up! -3 health!
Your Arch Wizard has leveled up! +2 attack, +16 health, +16 leadership!
...I think there's a balance issue here.
I like the game, but I'm reeeeeeeeally starting to get frustrated when I'm going for the zilch-free award and the game gives me a zilch on 5 dice after I get to 9500 points.
When a game is almost auto-win for certain builds and literally impossible for other builds, that is bad design. If you're going to make a Sonny ripoff, at least rip off the respec option as well.
I love the concept of this game, but the execution is a little bit frustrating, particularly in the physics.
1. The collisions just seem unintuitive at times, particularly on the bumpers at the bottom. They seem to kick the ball at a weird angle regardless of the incoming angle.
2. Monster collisions seem to propel the ball in random directions? I would expect the ball to bounce off of them, but instead it seems to accelerate through them or else jolt off to one side or the other.
3. The flippers feel just a little jerky. I don't know if it's unresponsiveness or an untintuitive launch angle, but it's difficult to plan a shot with these flippers.
Again, I love the concept of this game, it's a solid 4/5 from me and would be a 5/5 with smoother controls (and I don't give out 5s very often at all). I hope to see a sequel with an updated physics engine :)
I loved Robot Wants Kitty, but either I'm missing something or this game is a lot worse. You have to throw a cat at enemies to kill them? And the cat is impossible to control? And if you miss you have to somehow avoid the enemies anyway to go pick up the cat again? And half the time even when you hit an enemy with the cat, it turns around and kills you anyway? No thank you. I want my lasers back.
Glitch report: For some reason, I managed a glitch where every enemy died just by appearing on the same screen as me. I cleared an entire island just by walking back and forth and hearing the screams of death all around me. I gained like 3 levels and thousands of gold without ever having to click anything, but it was kind of boring. It might be related to having the sword equipped, because when I switched my weapon to boomerang the game went back to normal. Just thought I'd let you know about a pretty wild bug.
After two months, I have finally gotten the final hard badge. This hard badge took twice as long as most impossible badges I've gotten. So long, you terrible, horrible game, and I hope I never have to look at you again.
Here's a hint: if you want people to want to play your game, don't include an Energy mechanic that actively prevents them from playing it. It's frustrating because the game feels like it could be good, but when I have to stop and twiddle my thumbs every 5 minutes because I ran out of energy it kind of takes the fun out of it. I understand asking us to pay Kreds for bonus items and allies and such, but forcing us to pay Kreds to refill our energy just to play the game AT ALL is not good business. I will simply go play a different game instead. You're not doing yourself any favors.
I like that someone has made a tower defense game for the casual gamer. It starts out fairly easy, and actually gets rather challenging by the final levels. Plus, there's an Extreme difficulty mode for hardcore TD players to test their skill against. Kudos to you!
Beat the game in about 20 minutes, then spent the next hour and a half looking for a BFT x_x ...It's a good game, 4/5, but you seriously need to make it easier to find those big bad bubbles, especially when you're actively looking for them. After about the 600th bubblefield you go through, you really start to lose patience with this game.
Game lags to the point of unplayability. I spent 20 minutes standing in one spot waiting for the controls to respond, then Firefox crashed. This is ridiculous. 1/5
Beat 3 million with tank, golden gun, missile, and chest bomb, but using NO NUKES! It was thanks to a series of very lucky occurrences, though -- like getting extra ammo 4 times in a row.
Whatever issue it was that kept deleting my saves seems to have been resolved, so I can finally play the game normally. 4/5 for now, I might give it the fifth star later if I really like the ending.
got all the way to Gordzak's Lair, then my save game disappeared. Despite the fact that i had saved, quit, and restarted multiple times before that. Started a new game, saved and quit, and the same thing happened -- my save disappeared again. Looks like it's probably a good game, but 1/5 until you can let me actually play it.
