a slightly different td... has potential but tower balance is abyssmal, AI is an odd blend of excellent (fires exactly the right amount) and terrible (ignores the low health enemy while spamming at the high health).
not really at beta stage yet, there's no hint yet the game will distinguish itself from other set path tds and in fact seems something of a step backwards compared to what many tds now offer, and i'm not just talking about things like speed toggles and cancel build. very lacking in strategic demands, didn't feel it was worth playing beyond seeing what each of the towers did. clearly a lot of nice polish here though, hope the core game comes along way before final release.
a game like this could support a whole lot more innovation in the awards, real wasted opportunity here. Needs stuff like 'reach wave x with only the pistol' etc awards, stuff which encourages playing in different ways.
