the scoring would be better if it favoured persistence a bit more over simply landing a great set of rolls from the get go.
the 'skill' element is pretty thin. good anyway though

Who would have thought game's based on this terrible form of gameplay would still be going strong by the end of 2008. BUT IT HAZ UPGRADEZZZ!!1 sigh.
would like to be able to see next 5 or so bricks, not just next 1.
pretty long for a very unforgiving game. 4/5 faved
444876561 on 1st effort. Impressive amount of bullets on screen for a manic shooter in flash but regardless not a particularly standout scroller. Easy with too much focus on collection. Would anyone in their right mind go for anything other than the highest firepower ship?

interesting but tends to emphasise pattern learning over an actual understanding of the rules in action.

indeed, successfully using the triangle to kill stuff is counterproductive often as enemies spawn in multiples of 3 so you may be forced to reset your chain as a result.
expert isn't hard either, just run around enemies, even ones that shoot in all directions, and they won't fire. the triangle thing is very underutilised. After the first couple of hits on the boss you have enough score for virtually infinite lives.
lots of good ideas here, poorly stitched together.

difficulty is backwards; starts pretty tricky (a good difficulty imo) and gets very easy as you quickly become over-powered up.
too easy for too long, pretty repetitive, I didn't have the patience to see if the last couple of levels are worth the grind.
about 140k on hard, which seems genuinely difficult. score board's buggy.

very impressive. Shame gameplay basically consists of nothing more than backing off while attacking... what a waste :/
too easy, slow, would be better if it didn't all comboes at once, perhaps switching to an RPG system.

badly placed link in bottom right. no mute + loud crappy sfx. pretty nice o/w, haven't seen this concept since rumblebox. 3.5/5

30= just go straight along the bottom, jump over the turning spike.
once again, great game idea rather wasted due to very uninspiring level design.
