Showing my age here... but anyone else think the menu/title music is a bastard child of the glass note section of "Who's Gonna Drive You Home Tonight" and one of the desert themes from Diablo II?
It was not obvious that to win you had to collect all the medals. That is very non-standard and non-obvious - I would have just quit after I got tired of running, wondering where the ending was, if I hadn't looked at the comments. If it's too much to ask to have this goal stated plainly, at least put the medals on the wall in her room, with empty places for the missing ones - that will signal to the player that they may be important.
Suggestion on the UI redesign - inventory management deserves a whole screen (via a higher-level tab) with separate bins, especially for 'new' items that you haven't looked at yet. Maybe add a 'global' bin, too, so you can share stuff between characters, make it easier to try out different character 'builds'.
Figured out why scrolling inventory give me anxiety... the equip and sell buttons should not be on the same side as the scroll bar. Also the scroll bar needs to be wider.
Well there goes a character that's been running for days. You know some day maybe someone at Kong will wise up and make that not be the default game update behavior.
There is an issue with scrolling continuing after MouseUp. I think you can fix it my stopping scroll when the mouse moves out of the scroll area, or the scroll area is hidden.
