Grammar errors make me enjoy games less. When the Japanese did it in the 80's it had a special style all its own and was oddly charming ("player 1 win!"), yet here for some reason it's different, it looks dumb, or shockingly careless. I know, OMG criticism (-13)!!!, but I just wish Kong offered a simple proofreading service to help out their otherwise talented foreign developers.
Most of the control problem is how the fish moves when it's out of water. It floats like it's full of helium, and it's enough to make the game not fun. I don't like having to wait 5 seconds for the fish to stop bouncing around.
Two things I was sure they'd upgrade but didn't - the crappy-slow drag-drop in the editor, and the quotes around "loading". Especially the last one. Nobody puts quotes around the word "loading". I kept imaging Dr. Evil doing the quote gesture before every wave.
Pro tip: once it becomes available, stick with the blade boomerang. Having one or two blades constantly hovering out in front of you is more effective and ammo efficient than any other weapon except the gauss gun.
actually i patched that out about an hour ago.
