That's your opinion. I can go on any time and do something fun. You just don't want to invest time in a game. That's not a bad thing, but it does not mean Runescape is a bad game.
Luring was the reason for the ditch.
Real World Trading was the reason for the restrictions on PvP.
It was jerkish players that caused the game to be restricted.
You know what would be awesome? If the arrows on the ground (ones that did not hit enemies) became sort of like land mines.
They could do 1/2 their normal damage to anything that walks into them.
Or at least slow them down a bit as they try to push past them.
Most RPGs are grinding. If you don't like RPGs, then don't play them.
Also, level 60? Your kidding right? You probably only got to 1/4th of all the things you could do on the game. If that.

The first Epic boss is pretty easy.
Before he comes, combine all your gems. Aim for 2-3 level 8 gems.
Also, set towers all around the play field. As he gets out of range of the level 8 gems, set them in a tower farther down the road. 2 of them will almost always kill him (only won't if you did it wrong. Waited to long to did not position them right).
If he gets really really close to the end of the road, gem bomb him with those bad boys. Should finish him off.
I have tried a lot of online MMOs. Pretty much all of them require downloads (which a lot of people don't trust, viruses and what not).
Also, I have not liked them.
Not everyone needs constant stimulation. Take any woodcutter in Runescape for example. You only need to click once every 30 seconds or so.
I usually play runescape and a Tower Defense game at the same time if I am doing something like Woodcutting or Fishing. How many other games can you build up your account while also playing a flash game? The beauty of a browser game.
Honestly, I said it before. Why are you here if you don't like it. Who do you think is reading your comments and going "Oh yeah, I should totally not be here." Only people who care are those that agree with you. Anyone playing the game or thinking of playing the game is going to do so whether or not you have your session of e-bashing.

Also, you cannot compare other MMOs. Can you get any of them for as cheap as Runescape? No. How bout as easily as Runescape? Nope.
It's not the best game, but that's because it's flexible.

Arguably, you should only click on the link to come play the game. Doing otherwise means you are deliberately going out of your way to tell people *WHO ALREADY PLAY THE GAME* that it sucks.
If we are playing it, you saying "It sucks!!!@11omfgwehatezyou" will not change our opinion of the game. Playing it will.
The concept is similar to bowmaster but the execution of the game is much different. You don't aim with the mouse. You manually select units to send. Destroying the enemy castle is needed to win (bowmaster was capture the flag).
Overall it's pretty good. Easy once you know what your doing, though.

Well, it's not too bad. The combat system is weird, though. If you don't get a good monster through random selection then you cannot move forward.
I gave it a 2/5. It could use some work. The concept itself is not all that bad.
